How FacetWP Caching Addon Works

Every unique combination of facet filters that a visitor uses will be cached in the database and retrieved from the cache the next time someone chooses that combination.

If you have many users combining many unique different selections (for example, entering their own location or making a random variety of facet selections), then caching AJAX requests won’t help much because those combinations have not been cached yet.

Important

FacetWP Caching Addon will only be effective on frequently visited pages (such as landing pages) with only a few facets and frequently used facet options/combinations.

FacetWP Caching Addon complements other caching plugins. It only caches its own AJAX requests, so it will not negatively affect other caching systems you may be using.
