WooCommerce File Approval

WooCommerce File Approval integrates seamlessly into your WooCommerce installation, allowing you to share files with your customers. Files that can be approved or rejected!

THE IDEA
It happens that a store manager needs to share some files with a customer after a purchase. Those files have to be approved or rejected by the customer. Eventually, the customer should have the possibility to leave a message explaining the reasons for their actions. This process must continue until the customer approves the file!

WooCommerce File Approval is designed to meet this need! The store manager can now create all the attachments needed for an order! Each attachment will have its file and its message thread that will allow communication with the customer. Each attachment has some additional options, such as the «response policy» (how often the user can post a message) and the «file title.»

How WooCommerce File Approval Works: THE APPROVAL WORKFLOW
The process is simple:
1: The administrator, through the order detail page, attaches one or more files. For each of them, a message can be left. Once saved, a notification email is sent to the user
2: The user, through the order detail page, can approve or reject the attached file. Optionally, a message can be left. Once done, a notification is sent to the administrator
3: The administrator can attach a new file or simply post a message to get more information (to go back to step 1)

MESSAGE SEQUENCE STYLE
Attached messages are displayed through a nice visual sequence style.

CLIENT ATTACHMENTS TO RESPONSES
With WooCommerce File Approval, you can optionally enable the option to allow client attachments to responses. This way, if a customer needs to send you more information about the current file approval process, they can eventually share some files with you!

EMAIL NOTIFICATION
Every time the administrator edits attachment files (so the user must re-approve or reject them) or posts a message, the customer receives an email notification. The same happens when the customer approves/rejects an attachment or posts a message.

Email texts can be configured (and eventually translated through WPML) through the special WooCommerce File Approval email text menu.

REMINDER EMAILS
If an order still has some files that need to be approved/rejected by the customer after 24 hours, WooCommerce File Approval can send a reminder email. You can set the reminder interval (daily, twice a day, weekly, etc.) and customize the email text.

AUTOMATIC APPROVAL
If the customer does not take action within X hours, the WooCommerce File Approval plugin can automatically approve those files. A notification will be sent to both the administrator and the customer notifying them of the action!

NEW HIGHLIGHTED CONTENT
Each time the administrator edits an attachment file or adds a new message, those contents will be highlighted in the interface to provide a better response to the customer. The same happens when a customer leaves a message: the new message will be highlighted on the administrator’s order detail page.

ORDER LIST PAGE
Monitor the approval status of the file directly from the administrator’s order list page!

KEEP YOUR SERVER CLEAN
Attachments are uploaded to the WordPress media gallery and limited to the order. Once an attachment is removed, the associated file will be automatically deleted. If an order is deleted, all associated files will be deleted as well.

WPML
WooCommerce File Approval is compatible with the WPML translation plugin. You will then be able to customize and translate email texts through the special menu.
