At GPLClub we believe in transparency. That's why we want you to understand exactly what the GPL License is, what freedoms it grants you, and what it covers ( or doesn't cover ) when you download products from our platform.

A license designed for your freedom
The GPL (General Public License) is a free software license that guarantees 4 fundamental freedoms. WordPress and most of its premium plugins and themes are distributed under this license.
Use
The software for any purpose, personal or commercial, with no restrictions.
Modify
The code according to your needs. Adapt it to your projects without asking permission.
Share
Copies with anyone you want. GPL allows free redistribution.
Distribute
Your modified versions under the same GPL terms. Zero limits.
When you download a product from the catalog, you legally have the 4 freedoms over that code.
What you should know
What the GPL License does NOT cover
The GPL covers the software code, not services or additional content the original developer offers to commercial customers.
Automatic updates
Even though you have the code, the original developer isn't required to give you direct updates. That's why we built the GPLClub Updater plugin.
Developer support
Technical support is usually tied to a commercial license. The GPL doesn't require the author to support you. At GPLClub we provide our own.
Additional premium content
Some products include templates, images or resources NOT under GPL (they're authored content). When possible, we include them through other means.
Our model
Why don't we offer
commercial licenses?
We're a GPL Club, that's our model, and the reason we can offer such low prices. Commercial licenses usually have strict limits (one or few sites, non-transferable, etc.) that we couldn't share with you at scale without violating the terms.
However, as a benefit for our members, we DO include over 30 original licenses activated on your WordPress. They're the most popular ones (Elementor PRO, Astra, WPML, Crocoblock…) and we activate them on demand.
