About Advanced Woo Labels PRO

The badge is the cheapest lever in a shop

A "-30%" or a "Last few left" in the corner of the photo changes visitor behaviour more than almost anything else you can touch in a shop, and it costs not one line of new content.

Advanced Woo Labels lets you place those badges with rules, and that is where the difference lies between a useful one and a decorative one.

What conditions they display on

  • Product-based: on sale, out of stock, category, price range, attributes, custom fields.
  • Customer-based: user role, country, language, device, what is in their cart, their previous purchases.
  • Date-based: specific days, ranges, or only certain days of the week.
  • Combined, with AND and OR operators for multi-layered rules.

Badges can be text, with variables inserting the price, the discount percentage, the reference or the category, or your own images in several formats. They sit over the photo or before the title, with configurable position and styling.

The rule that makes them work

Badges lose their force through inflation. If all four hundred products in your shop carry one, the customer stops seeing them on the first screen and they never work again.

They work when they mark the exception: the three products genuinely reduced, the one running out, the one new this week. And they work very well when they are genuinely conditional: "free delivery to your region" only to whoever is in that region, or "trade price" only for the wholesale role.

A warning about discount percentages

The variable calculating the discount does so against whatever regular price you have set in WooCommerce. That requires the regular price to be real.

In the European Union, when a price reduction is announced you must state the lowest price applied in the preceding thirty days. Raising the reference price a week before the sale so the percentage comes out larger is expressly prohibited, and it is one of the practices most under inspection in online retail.
