Raising the price of a desk shouldn't take ten clicks per screen
Running a small website is mostly tiny tasks: changing a stock figure, filling in alt text for a few images, saving a note about the new opening hours as a draft. None of them is hard, but between opening the dashboard, finding the product, editing and saving, your afternoon is gone. AI Puffer lets you ask for them in a conversation with ChatGPT or Claude.
Whoever runs the website of a workshop, a shop or a practice is rarely an IT person and usually opens the dashboard reluctantly. What they struggle with isn't WordPress, it's the time every small change steals. Here the assistant acts as the go-between, and you decide how much freedom it gets.
AI Puffer in practice: from "the oak desk is back" to an up-to-date shop
Step 1, connect. You install the plugin, create your account and approve your assistant, ChatGPT or Claude, just once. After that, the connection lives in the plugin settings.
Step 2, ask for a shop change. You write: "The oak desk is back. Set its stock to 12 and lower it to 349." The assistant finds the product (it was at 399 and out of stock), changes price and stock and confirms the result. Products, prices, coupons, orders and packing lists are handled in WooCommerce, so you need it installed for this part.
Step 3, turn notes into content. You paste your notes and ask: "Turn these into a post about the new opening hours, keep it a draft and put it under News." You get the edit link so you can read it before it goes live. When editing existing posts, block formatting is kept.
Step 4, fix images. You ask: "Fill in any missing alt text and keep what's already written." The assistant finds the images without text, inspects them one at a time and doesn't touch what you already had.
The same method works in other areas:
- SEO titles and descriptions, redirects and sitemaps.
- Maintenance with familiar WP-CLI commands: backups, cache and users.
- Pages built from blocks, or several changes at once.
How much your AI can do on its own. There are two levels. In Trusted, changes happen directly. In Standard, changes to live content need your approval in wp-admin first. If you're starting out, Standard is the prudent choice. And in either mode you can explicitly ask "don't publish it."

Do I need an API key or a card to start?
No. To get started you need neither.
Does it only work with ChatGPT and Claude?
Those are the two assistants it connects with. It has also been tested with Cursor and Claude Code. Without an account in one of them, there's nothing to talk to.
Does it work with my other plugins?
There are tested integrations with Elementor, Yoast SEO, ACF, WPForms, Fluent Forms, Redirection and Duplicator. For anything not on that list, check before assuming the assistant will know how to handle it.
Why do they talk about actions and credits?
They are two separate counters. Website actions are for managing your site from ChatGPT or Claude. AI credits run the chatbot and the AI forms.
The chatbot and AI Forms: what your visitors see
Besides managing the site, the plugin looks after the people who visit it. The chatbot answers from your own pages, products and files, so it replies with what you publish rather than generic statements. AI Forms ask for a few fields and return a useful written answer on the same page.
It also includes a content writer, AI images and automations. Keep in mind that the chatbot and the forms use AI credits, not management actions, and that a chatbot only answers well if your content is clear and complete.
