About Airtech Plumber HVAC and Repair Theme

Two frantic weeks a year and eight months watching the phone

It is the rhythm of heating and cooling work and what the website has to solve, because no other trade has this shape.

On the first genuinely hot day the phone rings forty times and you cannot keep up. On the first cold day, the same. And in between there are months where the business goes still, with the team idle and the same fixed costs.

What fixes that is not selling more installations at the peaks, because at the peaks no more work fits. It is selling maintenance contracts in the quiet months: the annual service, filter cleaning, refrigerant top-up, the pre-season check. That fills the gaps, gets paid in advance and additionally gives you the list of customers to contact when the heat arrives.

Airtech is a WordPress theme for plumbers, heating, air conditioning and roofing, with over fifteen prebuilt pages and a drag and drop builder.

What it contributes

  • Over fifteen prebuilt pages, with homepage, services, gallery and blog.
  • A drag and drop builder, for changing them yourself without depending on anybody.
  • A conversion focus, with the calls to action where they belong.
  • Coverage of several trades: plumbing, climate control and roofing.

Refrigerant certification is a selling point, not a formality

And hardly anybody puts it on their website, which is the odd thing about it.

Handling refrigerant gases is regulated in most countries: the technician needs personal certification, the company has to be registered, and used gases have to be handled as waste. It is not optional and not everybody offering the service complies.

Saying so on the site separates you from half your competition without having to speak badly of anybody. And for a commercial customer, a hotel or a residents' association, it is outright a requirement: if the equipment fails and there was an uncertified intervention, the problem belongs to whoever hired them.

The same reasoning applies to efficiency. If you install equipment eligible for grants or tax relief, saying so and explaining the process is among the highest-converting content in this sector, because the customer does not know they exist.

What to put up, in order

The phone number, large and tappable. At the peak of the season nobody fills in a form.

Whether you take emergencies and until what time. Broken air conditioning in August with a baby in the house is a genuine emergency, and whoever answers at that hour charges differently.

The maintenance contract, with an annual price. It is what fills the empty months and hardly any site in the sector sells it.

The certifications and registration number. There, visible, not hidden in the footer.

Requirements

It needs WordPress. The visit diary, annual contract billing and service reminders get solved separately.

Alternatives in the catalogue

If your weight is on plumbing rather than climate control, FixNow is focused there, and if you do a bit of everything, Hendy and Fixhero cover the multi-service handyman.

If you prefer a theme built with native blocks rather than a builder, Airify is a climate control one taking that road, which weighs less and ties you less.

On the recurring contract model, which is where you should be heading, it is worth seeing how Poolax frames it: selling a fee rather than a one-off service, and in climate control it works the same.

And the pieces that make the business: WooCommerce Subscriptions for collecting the annual maintenance automatically, MotoPress Appointment Booking for the visit diary with reminders, and Cost Calculator Builder for giving an installation estimate from area and equipment rather than waiting for the site visit.

Frequently asked questions

What should be sold in the quiet months?
Maintenance contracts. They fill the gaps and give you the call list for the peak.

Is it worth saying you are certified?
Yes, and prominently. Handling refrigerant gases is regulated and not everybody complies.

Is it suitable for plumbing and roofing?
Yes, it allows for all three trades as well as climate control.

Does it bring a page builder?
Yes, drag and drop, with over fifteen prebuilt pages.

Does it include an appointment diary?
No. It gets added with a plugin, and it is what organises the busy season.

Is it worth talking about grants and efficiency?
Yes. The customer does not know they exist, and explaining them converts strongly.
