A slow search bar, one that shows few products or forces a page reload, barely shows up in your statistics: the customer simply leaves. And whoever types in that box is not browsing out of curiosity, they know what they want. If it fails right there, you lose the easiest sale in the shop.
AJAX SEARCH for Woocommerce turns the search field into a live box: results appear as people type, without refreshing the page, and can include an image, a price and sale labels.

Large catalog with many references
If your customers search by tag, category or product code, instant search saves them from digging through menus. Limiting the number of results keeps the list manageable even as the catalog grows.
Shop with sizes, colors or other variations
Because it searches inside variations, someone typing a specific attribute can reach the product even if that term is not in the parent product's title.
Shop with frequent sales
Prices with highlighted discounts and the sale, out of stock and featured labels turn the search into a small shop window. An out-of-stock product is flagged before the click, not after.

The plugin searches the fields your shop already has: title, description, excerpt and metadata. With ambiguous names or product pages without a description, the results will be just as poor, only faster. Before counting on typo tolerance or synonyms, try it in the demo with the clumsy searches a real customer would make.
