About Analytify Pro Email Notifications
Each section of the report answers a different question
Opening the analytics dashboard every week is a task that gets postponed, and the people who most need the numbers sometimes have no account on your WordPress. A report that lands in the inbox solves the access problem but leaves another question: which numbers to include.
Each section of the report answers a different question, such as which pages get read, where visits come from or which searches bring them. It is worth deciding first which questions the email must answer and turning on only the sections that answer them.
Email Notifications is the Analytify Pro module that sends Google Analytics reports by email automatically. It is activated from the add-ons page and configured in its own settings tab, with sender, recipients, schedule and metrics.
What the report includes
- General statistics: sessions, users, average time on site, bounce rate and other core traffic metrics.
- Top pages: the most visited ones by traffic volume.
- Geographic statistics: where your visitors come from.
- Social media: which platforms send traffic.
- Keywords: the search terms that bring visitors.
Each block is turned on or off separately. The data is presented with charts and summaries, and it is pulled from your Google Analytics account.
When it arrives and to whom
In the email tab you enter the sender's name and address, and the address of whoever receives the report. Several recipients are supported. In the schedule field you choose weekly or monthly delivery and your time zone.
A test email button sends a message to the recipients so you can see the format, metrics, links and layout before the first real report arrives. You can also change the logo of the email template.
A typical case: turning on general statistics and top pages. If you also need to know where visits come from, the geographic and social sections are added. Take it as a starting point and adapt it to your site.
It needs Analytify Pro and Google Analytics 4
The module works on top of Analytify Pro, so without it, it is not available. It also needs Analytify connected to your Google Analytics 4 account, because that is where it takes the data from.
Getting it running
To get started:
- Install Analytify Pro with the WordPress installer, activate it and connect it to Google Analytics 4.
- Open Analytify and go to Add-ons.
- Find the Email Notifications card and click Activate.
- In Settings, open the Email tab and fill in sender, recipients and schedule.
- Turn on the metrics you want and save your changes.
