Selling honey online means showing a farm product, with its origin and its harvest, on a website that does not look like any other food shop. And there is one detail the beekeeper knows and websites often forget: honey is not made on demand. Every year it turns out different, some jars sell out, and buyers want to know where what they take home comes from.
Apinae is a WordPress theme designed for beekeepers and honey shops. Its warm, natural look leaves room to tell the story of the farm, the hive and the products, and to sell with WooCommerce.
Apinae in practice: homepages, menus and sliders with Elementor
It is built with Elementor, so you can adjust pages visually. This is what it offers:
- Several ready-made homepages and a one-click demo importer, so you do not start from a blank page.
- Unlimited headers and footers, designed with Elementor itself.
- Revolution Slider included for presentations with movement.
- Megamenu, burger menu and secondary menu, useful when the catalog has many categories.
- Colors and fonts your way: unlimited color scheme, Google Fonts and custom fonts, with boxed or full-width layout.
- Coming soon and maintenance pages, and a child theme included.
It also includes a blog with infinite scroll or a load more button, ideal for telling how the season is going, and parallax effects on rows and content.
Payments, shipping and stock come from WooCommerce, not the theme
The theme is ready for WooCommerce, but the shop is configured in that plugin. The split is this:
- Already solved by Apinae: the shop design, the homepage, the blog and the menus.
- With WooCommerce: products, jar sizes, stock, payment gateways and taxes.
- With another plugin, by hand or with a professional: the texts and photos explaining the origin and type of each honey, and the labeling and requirements for selling food, which are worth checking with a professional.

Selling abroad: translation and right-to-left reading
The theme is ready to be translated with WPML and Polylang and supports RTL languages, useful if you want to reach buyers in other countries. Translation plugins are separate and you translate the texts yourself. For customer inquiries it is compatible with Contact Form 7.

Do I need Elementor?
The theme is built with Elementor and includes advanced addons, so it is designed to work with it. It is also compatible with Elementor Pro: check in the demo whether anything you like requires it.
Is it useful if I do not sell online?
Yes, it can work as a presentation website with a blog, portfolio and coming soon page. To take orders you need WooCommerce.
Is Revolution Slider bought separately?
No, it comes included with the theme.
Can I have the website in two languages?
Yes, the theme is ready for WPML and Polylang, but the translation plugin is a separate add-on.
