About ATUM Pick & Pack
When a WooCommerce store starts getting orders every day, preparing shipments from the orders screen turns into chaos: someone opens each order, hunts for products shelf by shelf, gets a quantity wrong, and the mistake ends up as a return. ATUM Pick & Pack organizes that work into picking and packing lists inside your own WooCommerce.
Shipping errors are made in the warehouse, not in the shop
Online sellers often assume returns come from the product or the carrier. Many start a few meters earlier: a person walks the warehouse order by order, with the same product repeated across ten different orders and no overall view. Separating picking from packing, and doing both with lists, narrows that margin for error. This is the problem the plugin targets, not stock management in general.
Picking lists: all orders on a single screen
You select WooCommerce orders and add them to a list in bulk. You can filter by order status or search by number, and create a new list ready for the team to start picking.
- Unified view: the list shows the items from all orders together, with name, SKU, barcodes, LOT or batch numbers and quantities.
- Filters that help in the warehouse: by category, product type, location or supplier.
- Picked marking: item by item or in bulk.
From picking to packing without changing lists
Within the same list you switch from picking mode to packing mode. There you see each order's items, with quantities and barcodes, and mark each product as packed order by order before shipping.
Status visible from WooCommerce Orders
The usual orders screen shows an indicator saying whether each order is in progress, pending or completed in the pick and pack process. Whoever handles customers doesn't need to go into the warehouse to know where an order stands.
Bulk actions with existing lists
You can add several orders to an existing list: search for the list, choose it and assign the orders at once, without creating a new list each time.
What it needs and what it is not
It is an ATUM add-on: it requires ATUM Inventory Management for WooCommerce installed and does not work on its own. It is designed to prepare orders, not to replace your shipping system: what it does is create lists, pick, pack and track status. The barcodes shown in the lists depend on your products having them assigned; ATUM offers a separate barcodes add-on, so check in the demo how they look in your case.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work without ATUM?
No. It needs ATUM Inventory Management for WooCommerce as its base.
Can I split picking among several people?
Check in the demo whether splitting with the filters by category, location or supplier fits how your warehouse is organized.
Is it worth it for a store with few orders?
If you prepare two or three orders a day, it probably won't add much. It earns its place when there are several people or many orders to group.
Can I see progress without opening the list?
Yes, the pick and pack status appears on the WooCommerce orders screen.
Start with a small list and real orders
Before using it with your whole catalog, check that your products have SKUs and, if you use them, barcodes and batches, because the list shows them as they are. Then create a list with a few orders, pick them, switch to packing mode and check that the status indicator changes in Orders. With that trial you will know whether the flow fits the way you work.
