About Avail – Modern Blog & Magazine Elementor Template

For people who already publish and want a magazine front page, not for those looking for a complete theme

A new blog looks worse than one with years behind it: the most elegant template feels empty when there are only three posts. Avail is designed for people who already write regularly (magazine, journal, news, stories, portal) and want to organise that content with Elementor, without touching code.

It is not for you if you are looking for a theme. Avail is a template kit: it brings the page designs for Elementor, but it does not replace your theme. It is optimised for Hello Elementor, although it works with most themes that support Elementor. Nor is it for you if you expect the site to look identical to the demo right after importing: post content does not travel with the kit.

The Avail pages that cover a magazine blog

The kit gathers what a publication needs to have an identity of its own:

  • Home, Explore and Blog: the front page and the listings.
  • Post: the layout of the individual post, where the article is read.
  • About, Contact, Submit and Subscribe: the pages for presentation, contact, content submission and subscription.
  • Header, Footer and Mega Menu: the shared structure of the site, with a mega menu.
  • Global Style: fonts and colours in one place, with fine-tuning element by element if you need it.

The style is clean and minimal, with a responsive design for mobile. Everything is edited by dragging and dropping with the Elementor visual editor.

With 3 categories and 12 posts it looks like the demo

The listing layouts are fed by your posts. Until you have enough content, those areas will appear empty. The sensible approach is to have at least three categories and around twelve published posts before judging the result. After that, you need to select each post element and set its query, that is, which category or which posts it shows.

Images work in a similar way: the demo ones come from Envato Elements and are not yours. To publish, you will have to replace them with your own or obtain them on your own. The front page is assigned in the WordPress reading settings as a static front page.

Forms, header and mega menu: the plugins Avail needs

The kit installs ElementsKit Lite and Metform. With the first one you build the global header and footer from its header and footer builder; if you have Elementor Pro, you can do it from its Theme Builder, but it is not required. Metform handles the kit's three forms: subscribe, submit and contact. If you already use another forms plugin, you will have to rebuild them with it.

Frequently asked questions about Avail

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. The kit is designed to work without Elementor Pro.

Can it serve as the theme for my site?

No. It is a template kit for Elementor. You need a separate theme; the recommended one is Hello Elementor, which is free.

Can I change colours and typefaces?

Yes. They are set globally and can also be adjusted on individual elements.

Why does my front page show no posts?

Because content is not exported with the kit. Publish posts, assign them a category and a featured image, and check the query of each posts block.
