Selling on terms without chasing invoices in a spreadsheet

When a professional customer asks to pay in 30 days, you usually end up with orders accepted by email, balances noted in an Excel file and nobody who knows in real time how much each account owes. B2BKing Company Credit turns that agreement into a rule inside the store: each customer has a limit, buys on credit while they have balance left, and the system keeps the count.

Wholesale has a particularity: credit is rarely granted equally to everyone. Long-standing customers may have a high limit, new ones a cautious one and some none at all. This addon respects that reality, because the limit is set globally, by group or by user.

How B2BKing Company Credit handles credit at checkout

• Credit payment method: it appears at checkout when the order total does not exceed the available credit. If the balance falls short, the method is shown disabled and warns that there is not enough credit.
• Customer credit panel: in My Account (or via shortcode) they see their limit, outstanding balance and available credit, plus the transaction history.
• Double history: transactions are recorded both in the customer's panel and in their admin profile.
• Order notes: orders paid with credit show the outstanding balance and the available credit.
• Automatic restoration: if an order is cancelled, fails or is refunded, the credit returns to the customer's account.

Three buying situations it covers

The customer who pays what they owe

They can reimburse used credit or buy balance for later from My Account. To do so they add credits to the cart and pay for them with any method except credit itself. The balance is added when you mark the order as completed.

The customer who is a few euros short

If the cart exceeds their credit, they can redeem it as a coupon (optional feature) and pay the difference with another gateway. That way the sale is not lost over a small gap.

The administrator who corrects by hand

From the user's profile you can set their limit, record a payment received by bank transfer, add or remove credit to correct errors and leave notes. Credit is also deducted on manual orders created from the backend with this method.

Control over who can buy on credit

With the main B2BKing plugin you can enable the method only for certain groups or limit it to orders above or below a given amount. You can also require manual approval of users, so nobody gets access to credit until you have reviewed them. This matters: granting credit means taking on a risk of non-payment, and the decision stays with you. Sub-account orders also deduct credit from the main account.

It does not work without B2BKing

It is an add-on: it requires the B2BKing plugin, purchased separately. Nor does it replace your accounting: it does not collect payment for you or generate payment reminders that the description mentions. It records balances and movements, but chasing late payments and invoicing remain your job. If you need a card payment gateway or similar, that is a different matter.
