About Babet - Pet Care & Shop WordPress Theme

For the pet shop that sells products, not the clinic that lives on appointments

Building a website for a pet business often ends in a pretty storefront that doesn't sell, or a cold online shop that has nothing to do with the care you give animals. Babet tries to solve the first problem: it is designed for pet stores, grooming salons, pet hotels and boarding, veterinary clinics and animal care sites in general.

Many pet businesses are really two businesses with different logic. One sells products (food, toys, accessories) and relies on a cart, payment and customer account. The other sells a service (a bath, boarding, a consultation) and needs the owner to see the place, trust it and take the step. Babet brings a complete shop mechanism; for the service side it offers presentation pages, not appointment management.

  • It fits if your focus is selling products and presenting your services.
  • It fits if you want to build the site yourself with Elementor, without coding.
  • If you need customers to book an appointment or a room online, check in the demo how that would be handled: the theme focuses on the shop and content pages.
  • It needs the WooCommerce plugin to sell; without it you only have the informational side.

Babet's shop: from the product page to the customer dashboard

Babet is compatible with WooCommerce and includes designed pages for the path a buyer follows: shop, product detail, cart, checkout and wishlist. After checkout, customers get a dashboard where they can see their activity and history.

For a pet business this makes practical sense: people who buy food or accessories tend to come back, and a dashboard where they can review earlier orders makes repeat purchases easier. You load products, prices and shipping in WooCommerce; the theme handles how it all looks.

Elementor and more than 40 custom addons to build your pages

The theme is built on Elementor, with real-time editing and drag and drop. It includes more than 40 custom Elementor addons, compatible with multilingual sites.

Colors and theme options

From Babet's options panel you change the primary color, and with it buttons, links, menus and backgrounds. The more closely you match your brand identity (for example, your logo colors), the less it will look like a template.

Technical base

It is based on Bootstrap 5, with W3C-validated pages and a layout that adapts to desktop, tablet and mobile. Real speed will depend on your hosting, your images and the content you load, not just the theme.

Babet's header and footer: two systems worth understanding

Both the header and the footer work in two ways. With the default option, you configure them from the theme options and the widget areas. With the builder option, you use Babet's Header Builder and Footer Builder to design your own versions. Choose one system from the start and don't mix them, or you will end up hunting for a change in the wrong place.

To get going quickly, the theme includes one-click demo import and several different homepages. My advice: pick the demo closest to your business (shop, hotel, grooming or clinic) and adapt it, instead of building from scratch.

Common questions before choosing Babet

Is it suitable for a veterinary clinic?

Yes for presenting it: the theme works for veterinary clinics. But it is not designed as an appointment management system, so consider whether a form is enough or you need another tool.

Can I sell without WooCommerce?

No. The shop side works with WooCommerce.

Do I need to know how to code?

No: Elementor and the theme options cover the usual customization.

Can the site be translated?

Yes, the theme supports several languages and so do its custom addons. You will still need to translate your own content.
