Anyone who sees the same people over and over (physiotherapy sessions, private lessons, personal training, treatments in cycles) knows the wear and tear: the client books one appointment, returns to the site the following week, finds their slot taken by someone else and starts over. For you that means messages, changes and lost slots. This BookingPress addon lets clients book a whole series of sessions at once.
Your calendar is the one thing you can't get back
In an appointment-based business, an empty hour can't be sold later. That's why the real value of recurring bookings isn't convenience, but that they leave the coming weeks booked with clients who have already committed. You are prepared in advance for the upcoming appointments, instead of relying on each client remembering to come back.
How a client books a full series
In the same booking process, the client chooses:
- The start date.
- Their preferred time.
- The frequency: daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
- The total number of sessions they want to book.
Before confirming, they see a summary page with all the appointments in the series. If the chosen time is already taken, the addon suggests the next available slot, so they don't have to try dates one by one.
Dashboard control and a single payment
Recurring appointments are managed from the BookingPress dashboard, where you see the reserved slots for each service. The client can pay for all sessions in one payment. You can enable series for all services or only the ones where they make sense.
It needs BookingPress Pro to work
Before deciding, it helps to separate what the addon solves from what you'll have to cover yourself:
- What it solves: daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly series; a single payment for several sessions; alternative slot suggestions; a summary before confirmation; management from the dashboard.
- What you need separately: BookingPress Pro already installed, because the addon doesn't work on its own.
- What you decide: which services allow series. If your business needs other rules (for example, discounts for buying a block of sessions), check in the demo whether they fit what you see before taking it for granted.
