About BookingWP WooCommerce Appointments
An unsold hour doesn't come back tomorrow
Managing appointments through WhatsApp, phone and email ends in empty slots, double bookings and hours lost finding out who is coming and who isn't. Anyone who sells time (consultations, classes, sessions, home services) has an inventory that expires every day: the 5 pm slot nobody booked can't be sold on Monday.
BookingWP WooCommerce Appointments turns those slots into WooCommerce products that the customer books and pays for on your own website. Since it is built on top of WooCommerce, it accepts the payment gateways you already use in your store, and customers, orders and data stay on your site.
Availability, capacity and prices that change by the hour
This is the part that decides whether the plugin adapts to your business or forces you to adapt to it:
- Availability: set schedules by date, day or hour, with breaks and holidays. Each rule has a priority and can override the global availability of the product or the staff member.
- Capacity per slot: raise places when you can take more people and lower them when you are tight.
- Pricing: rules by date, day, hour or a combination, and also different by staff member or quantity booked.
- Time between appointments: a preparation buffer between sessions, plus a minimum lead time and a maximum window for booking.
- Extra fields: checkboxes, options, text inputs, color swatches and file uploads, which can add or reduce cost and duration.
- Duration: extended or reduced depending on the chosen options, even multi-day appointments.
- Travel cost: calculated with WooCommerce shipping zones, useful if you go to the customer.
Staff, Google Calendar and reminders so nobody forgets
You can assign several staff members to appointments, give each one their own calendar and let them log in to set their own availability. Google Calendar sync works both ways: what is in your Google Calendar is synced with the website, and what is booked on the website shows up there. Each staff member can sync only their own appointments with their personal calendar.
To reduce no-shows, the plugin sends email reminders with editable templates, where you can add instructions beforehand. If you don't want to charge before confirming, you can require approval before payment: once the appointment is approved, the payment is requested. Customers can cancel or reschedule without writing to you, and time slots are converted to their timezone, while your team always sees the site's time.
You manage everything from an admin calendar in daily or weekly view. The main calendar color is changed from the Customizer, and the developer's brand does not appear in the admin or on the front end.
Is BookingWP WooCommerce Appointments right for you if you don't use WooCommerce?
Only if you are willing to set up the store. It is a WooCommerce extension: the appointment is a product and the booking goes through the WooCommerce cart and checkout. If you want a standalone booking calendar with no store, it is more machinery than you need. SMS reminders (with Twilio), deposits or tickets are WooCommerce extensions it integrates with, but they are installed separately. Check in the demo that the booking flow fits the way you serve customers.
Does it work with any theme?
It is designed to work with any of them, it is tested with Divi, Avada, Enfold, X, Storefront and Genesis, and also with custom-built themes.
Can I place the form wherever I want?
Yes, with a shortcode in blocks, widgets, pages or posts.
Is it suitable for a multilingual or multi-currency site?
It can be used with WPML, Polylang, Loco, MultilingualPress and qTranslate.
Can I charge only once I accept the appointment?
Yes: enable prior approval and the customer pays after you confirm. You can also offer free appointments.
