About Boost WordPress Plugin

A new store or a quiet form looks empty

Visitors arriving at a site they don't know look, without realizing it, for signs that other people have already been there. If your store is new, your form gets few submissions or your products show no movement, the visitor sees none of that and hesitates. Boost WordPress Plugin shows recent activity from your own site as small pop-ups that vanish on their own. The plugin calls them boosts.

The key is that the notices come from interactions recorded in your WordPress, not from an external service. Boosts are created and stored on your site, and you have access to all their data so you can edit or delete them.

How a boost is built and what it can say

Each boost is set up in four steps: you choose the trigger, customize the message, decide which pages show it, and it's ready. No code at all.

  • Triggers: any form or pop-up, WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads transactions (including specific products), add to cart clicks and stock information.
  • Dynamic keywords: name, product with link, product name, stock, town, state, country and time. Location is tracked and saved automatically.
  • Profanity filter: a built-in one with 5989 words from all languages, and you can add your own.
  • Templates: 12 in total, 6 for desktop and 6 for mobile, squared or round. You can pick one or several per device and set the position of the notice.

What different types of sites get from Boost WordPress Plugin

If you sell with WooCommerce

You can show purchases, products added to the cart or stock messages. The stock message must match your real inventory.

If you sell downloads with Easy Digital Downloads

It works the same way as with WooCommerce: every interaction can become a boost to build trust and urgency.

If you collect leads with forms

Every completed submission can become a notice, whatever the type of form or pop-up.

If you already have past customers

The plugin can use information from pre-existing customers to create boosts, so you don't have to wait to build up new activity.

Questions people ask before installing it

Do I need WooCommerce or PixelYourSite?

No. It's an independent plugin: it works with any form or pop-up and has dedicated integrations for WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads.

Do I have to touch code?

No, everything is configured from the plugin's settings.

Does the data leave my site?

No. Boosts are created and stored on your own WordPress, with no third-party service involved.

Can I change or delete a boost?

Yes, you have access to the data of all of them and can edit or delete them.

Notices with names and towns call for judgment

Boost WordPress Plugin shows what really happens on your site, and that has a consequence: if there is little activity, there will be few notices to show, unless you make use of data from past customers. Also, when you display names and locations of real people, think about what data you put in the message and whether your privacy policy covers it. The plugin gives you control over the data, but it does not replace that decision of yours.
