A template library is worth what comes in every week

With a loose template you buy a file. With Brixies you buy something else: access to a library living on their servers, browsed from their site and growing with new designs every week. Templates are not downloaded as a zip you keep in a folder: they are copied from the library and pasted straight into Bricks.

That changes what the licence means. Without access you have a snapshot of what the library was one day; with an active licence you have the tap open: the whole catalogue, whatever comes in each week and the revisions of what already existed.

What the official Brixies licence covers

Full access to the library with its copy and paste system, the new templates published every week, the organised Figma files with the same variables, and the maker's support. The GPLClub team leaves the activation ready on your account.

What Brixies is

• More than 500 templates and sections for Bricks Builder: headers, heroes, pricing, testimonials, full pages.
• Built with developer judgement: BEM class methodology, semantic HTML5 and variables compatible with Automatic.css and Core Framework, so what you paste is not an opaque block but structure you can maintain.
• Deliberately neutral design, meant to adapt to each project's identity by changing variables, not to impose its own.
• Figma files included, with the templates and their variables, so design and build start from the same system.

When it pays

If you build Bricks sites in series. An agency or a freelancer delivering several projects a year recovers the cost on the first site, because every section you do not lay out from scratch is billable hours.

If you work with a system. Brixies' edge over copying loose designs is that everything comes from the same methodology: same classes, same variables, same judgement. The sites stay maintainable.

It requires Bricks Builder as the theme. Members have the Bricks Builder zip in the catalogue, and if you want the builder with its own official updates, its licence is also in the shop: official Bricks Builder licence.

About licensing and the GPL

In the WordPress ecosystem the code is distributed under the GPL licence and its use is free. A hosted library like Brixies' is something else: the access, the weekly additions and the support are services contracted with the maker and they exist while the licence is active. They are not the same thing, and buying one is not buying the other.
