About Contact Form 7 for AMP
You have forms built with Contact Form 7 and an AMP version of your site where those forms don't show up or won't submit. AMP restricts the JavaScript a page can load, and a regular form depends on exactly that. The usual result: the fast mobile page that brings in visits loses the one button that converted.
The form is what converts, and AMP tends to leave it out
People landing on an AMP page usually come from a search engine, on mobile, with a specific question. If they can't write to you from there, they will most likely leave. Contact Form 7 for AMP exists so that person can contact you without leaving the AMP version, using the forms you already have.
What Contact Form 7 for AMP does with your forms
It is an extension you activate with one click that adapts Contact Form 7 forms to work in AMP. This is what it offers:
- Works with the form builder of Contact Form 7 and with all kinds of fields, with the corresponding form validation.
- Careful design of the forms.
- Doesn't depend on the AMPforWP plugin: you can use it with any other AMP plugin.
What it needs to work
It is not a form builder on its own: you need Contact Form 7 installed, since it creates and manages the forms. This extension only makes them compatible with AMP.
Integrations with other Contact Form 7 add-ons
There are ready-made integrations for Contact Form 7 Redirection and for the MailChimp extension. If you use another Contact Form 7 add-on that isn't covered, compatibility isn't guaranteed from the start: test it on a real page before taking it for granted.

Is there much to configure?
Activation is one click and, with it, your forms should start working. Even so, send a test through each important form.
Send a test submission on the AMP version
Once the extension is active, open your pages in their AMP version on your phone and fill in each form the way a customer would. Check that required fields warn properly when missing, that the email reaches you and that the confirmation message displays. If you use redirections or MailChimp, also verify that part responds as you expect.
