About CSSIgniter Themes – Andros
For the hotel that wants a showcase site, not a booking engine
Building a small hotel's website often ends in one of two extremes: a generic template that says nothing about the place, or a custom project that eats the budget before the first guest arrives. Andros is a theme designed to present a hotel or resort with a polished look, and it sits comfortably in the middle ground.
It works for you if your goal is for visitors to see the property, get a feel for the atmosphere and then contact you or head to your booking system. It does not work if you expect an availability calendar, nightly rates and stay payments inside the theme itself: it is not a booking engine, so you would have to solve that part with an external tool. Check in the demo how the book button is linked and decide whether it fits your current system.
A hotel lives off first impressions, and Andros puts them in the header
Anyone looking for a place to sleep compares photos and feelings for a few minutes before looking at anything else. That is why the top of your site should be yours and not the same as everyone else's. From the Customizer you can adjust the header's color scheme, layout, typography and logo, seeing the changes in real time.
The footer works the same way: colors, layout, fonts and links or key details. It is a detail that often gets neglected and in a hotel it matters, because that is where guests look for a phone number and an address.
Your palette and your fonts, without touching code
- Colors: you can change the palette globally or fine tune it by area, such as the top bar, the header or the footer.
- Fonts: you choose the font pair among the many Google Fonts families and adjust their properties in the key sections.
- Global sections: you design a block once (with the block editor or Elementor) and reuse it across several pages. It works, for example, for a notice or a call to action you want to repeat without rebuilding it.
Block editor or Elementor: you decide how to build the pages
Andros works with the WordPress block editor and the GutenBee collection of custom blocks, and also with Elementor if you prefer drag and drop. Using it is optional: the maker recommends Beaver Builder, Divi and Elementor as compatible builders.
To get started quickly, the theme includes one-click demo import, which replicates the sample site with its example content. It is useful to see how the pages are put together, but remember to replace photos and texts: a hotel showing another property's images gets noticed right away.
Optional shop with WooCommerce
The theme supports WooCommerce, which is useful if besides lodging you want to sell your own products. Be aware, though, that WooCommerce is a separate plugin you must install and configure, and selling a room as if it were a product is not the same as having a booking system.
Frequently asked questions
Can I charge for room bookings with Andros?
The theme is focused on presenting the hotel. For availability and stay payments you will need an external booking system.
Do I need Elementor?
No. You can build with the block editor and the GutenBee blocks. Elementor is an alternative.
What do I need to get it running?
A domain, hosting and WordPress installed.
Can I copy the look of the demo?
Yes, with the one-click demo import, which loads the example content so you can replace it with your own.
Will it work with any plugin?
Plugins from well-known developers usually work, but it is not possible to test with all of them. If you depend on a specific one, test it before launching the site.
