The event page is where people decide to attend, and it almost never gets designed
You set up the calendar carefully, but every single event comes out with the default layout: the same arrangement for a two-hour workshop as for a festival. Tweaking each page by hand is slow, and as events pile up the pages end up inconsistent with each other.
The single event page is where visitors land from Google, a social network or a shared link, and that is where they decide whether to go. Divi Single Builder Addon for MEC lets you design that page with Divi and apply it as a template to your Modern Events Calendar events.

If you publish events often
You create a template with the single event widgets and apply it to all of them.
If some events deserve different treatment
You can change the widget styles and typography on specific events, for example to highlight your star event without touching the rest. There is also no cap on templates: you can prepare as many as you need for your single events.
If you already use another page builder
Divi Builder can live alongside others such as VC, Elementor and KC, so you don't have to rebuild the rest of your site just to redesign the event pages.
If you work with MEC Lite
The add-on works with both MEC Lite and MEC Pro, without restrictions.
Separate widgets, free sizing and animation
Every widget of the single event can be used on its own. That changes how you work: instead of accepting a closed block, you decide what information goes where.
- You build whatever section you want, at whatever size you want.
- If a widget is of no use to you, you remove it and use others.
- You can assign an animation to each widget.
You can also define a template for the modal pop-ups of your shortcodes.
Questions before building your template
Can I use it without Divi? No. The template is designed with the Divi page builder, which you need on your site.
Does it work with MEC Lite? Yes, it works with MEC Lite and MEC Pro without restrictions.
How many templates can I create? As many as you want for your single events.
It needs Modern Events Calendar and Divi to work
It is an add-on: it does not manage events by itself or create calendars. It only redesigns the single page of the events you already publish with Modern Events Calendar, and it requires Divi to lay it out. Check the demo to see how the template looks before deciding whether it fits your design.
