People who hire a consultant usually check the website first to find out two things: who is going to sit down with them and whether that person has already solved something similar. Many advisory websites fail right there: plenty of text about "comprehensive solutions" and not a single face or concrete case.

Building an advisory firm's website with Drevon, step by step

Imagine you are launching a consultancy of two or three people. This would be the path:

1. Prepare the base

The kit is optimized for the free Hello Elementor theme, although it works with most themes that support Elementor. It needs three plugins: Elementor, Jeg Elementor Kit and MetForm. They are not optional: Jeg Elementor Kit handles the header and MetForm handles the forms.

2. Add your brand

Fonts and colors can be changed from a single place or element by element, by dragging and dropping, without writing code. The demo images are examples: replace them with photos of your team and your projects. A stock photo library on the team page undermines exactly what that page is meant to deliver.

3. Explain who you are and what you do

The home page includes calls to action to request a consultation, and the kit adds About Us and Services pages. Here you will have to write: the design organizes the message, but the demo texts are not your value proposition.

4. Prove it with cases and people

This is the most useful part for this sector. There is a project page for your case studies, a testimonials page, a team page and an individual detail page for each expert. If you work alone, the individual page works as a personal introduction page.

5. Close with the contact page

The contact page uses MetForm forms, and their templates are imported separately: you load the form blocks and then insert them from Edit Form inside the widget. The header works in a similar way: it is assigned from the Jeg Elementor Kit menu, or from Theme Builder if you have Elementor Pro. This is the step where most people get stuck, so set aside some time for it.

6. Before publishing

The kit comes with a Coming Soon page, so you have something online while you finish, and a 404 page, plus header and footer styles. It is built to load fast and look good on desktop, tablet and mobile.
