It happens on every site that has been running a while. The support number, the basic plan's price, the summer opening hours, the year in the footer. They were typed by hand when each page was built, and today nobody knows how many copies exist.

And then the day comes when the number changes. The hunt begins: the home page, the contact page, the services page, three blog posts, the form, a banner hidden in the footer. One always stays unchanged, and it is usually the one the client sees.

The solution is not searching better, it is having the value live in one place and be displayed wherever needed. That is what dynamic shortcodes are for: writing the reference instead of the value.

What it does

• Displays post data: date, author, custom fields, whatever you need, always current because it gets read at that moment.
• Displays user data, so content changes according to who is looking.
• Integrates deeply with ACF, repeater and relationship fields with their subfields included.
• Runs loops and conditional logic through shortcodes, without writing PHP.
• Caches the expensive parts, which is what stops all that dynamic data being paid for in speed.
• Works alongside many other plugins, so the value can be pulled from wherever it already lives.

When it pays

If your site has repeating data. Prices, contact details, terms or anything appearing on more than three pages: every copy is a future inconsistency.

If you work with structured content. Directories, catalogues, listings and any project built on custom fields: that is where this tool becomes the piece that saves you programming.

If your site is five fixed pages, it is more machine than you need.

About licensing and the GPL

The code is distributed under the GPL licence and its use is free. Updates, support and activation against the developer's servers are separate services contracted with them. They are not the same thing, and buying one is not buying the other.
