About Eduma - Education WordPress Theme
Eduma fits if you plan to sell your own courses, not if you only want a corporate site
Building an online academy often starts with a nice design and ends with a patchwork of plugins that don't talk to each other: one for courses, one for payments, one for the forum. Eduma starts from a different idea: a theme with a course system (LearnPress) already built into the design.
It suits you if you run an academy, a school, a training center or you're an independent tutor, or if you want a course platform. It also works if you need several languages or right-to-left writing, since it includes RTL support and is compatible with WPML and Polylang.
It doesn't suit you if you want a simple corporate site with four pages: you'd carry a course system you won't use. Nor if you expect everything to work with no setup: the premium LearnPress add-ons come in a large bundle and you install them yourself, one by one, depending on what you need.
How Eduma works with LearnPress to create and organize courses
The course side is handled by LearnPress, a plugin that is independent from the theme. That has a practical advantage: if you change designs someday, your courses and data stay put, because they don't depend on the theme.
- Drag and drop curriculum builder: you arrange lessons, quizzes and questions without touching code.
- Premium add-ons included: more than 24 in the bundle, such as content drip, new question types or myCRED integration. Install only the ones you use.
- Per-course forum with bbPress: a space for questions between teacher and students.
- Community with BuddyPress: if you want students to interact with each other.
Charging for courses with or without a full store
You can sell with WooCommerce if you already use it or want a full store. If you'd rather not load your server with that, LearnPress has its own gateways: PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.net, 2Checkout, Razorpay, Instamojo and offline payment.
For memberships or subscriptions there is integration with Paid Membership Pro, and for platforms with several instructors there is a commission add-on that sets how much each author earns per sale. Both are LearnPress add-ons, not features that appear on their own: you'll need to activate and configure them.
Eduma and its demo catalog: from a kindergarten to a university
There are more than 39 starter demos with one-click import, aimed at very different kinds of institutions: university, school, preschool, course marketplace, language center or online training. Among the most recent are Preschool, Global University, Yoga Coaching and Online Learning.
The design is edited with Elementor, with pre-built pages and blocks. Visual settings require no code: unlimited colors and more than 700 Google Fonts. Importing a demo gives you a very complete starting point, but you'll have to replace the sample text, images and courses with your own.

Do I need Elementor?
Most demos work with it. If you prefer another builder, check in the specific demo you like whether it supports it.
Can I sell without WooCommerce?
Yes. LearnPress includes its own payment gateways, so WooCommerce is optional.
Does it work for a multilingual site?
Yes, it is compatible with WPML and Polylang and supports RTL.
If I change themes, do I lose my courses?
Courses are managed by LearnPress, an independent plugin, so they aren't tied to the design.
Is there a mobile app?
Eduma apps exist in React Native and Flutter, but they are separate products from the theme. Check what your purchase includes before counting on them.
