About EmbedPress Pro WordPress Plugin
Pasting a YouTube iframe, another for Google Sheets and a PDF uploaded to the media library often ends in a page with three different behaviors: videos that do not adapt to mobile, documents showing someone else's branding and no control over who sees them. EmbedPress Pro tries to solve it with a single method: you paste the content URL and the plugin takes care of the rest.
Anyone who embeds a lot ends up with a site that looks like a collage
The businesses that embed the most (academies with videos, podcasts with Spotify, firms with Google documents, agencies building client sites) share a problem: every platform brings its own player, its own logo and its own style. The result is a site that looks like everyone's but yours. The idea behind EmbedPress Pro is that the content belongs to others, but the presentation is yours.
What changes when you embed with EmbedPress Pro
- 250+ supported sources: video, audio, social networks, maps, Google documents (Docs, Sheets, Slides and Forms), images and more. If a source is not on the list, it can also be embedded from its URL.
- Gutenberg blocks: you choose a block from the EmbedPress tab, paste the link and publish. You can also embed PDFs and Google documents with Elementor and Divi.
- Shortcodes to place an embed in sidebars, footers or your own templates.
- Lazy loading: content loads only when needed, which helps improve page performance.
PDFs with your brand, not a generic viewer's
An embedded PDF can carry your logo and a call to action, and can also be shown as an interactive 3D flipbook. It is useful if you publish catalogs, brochures or reports and want readers to see your brand, not an anonymous viewer. Google documents stay in sync with the live version: if you edit the original, what the visitor sees is updated.
Video and audio with their own controls
With YouTube you can embed videos, playlists or entire channels, add a subscribe button, change the progress bar color, enable live chat or control autoplay. There are also specific controls for Vimeo, Wistia, Dailymotion, SoundCloud, Spotify and Twitch live streams.
Global branding, protection and ads are configured in the plugin
Among the more professional tools are global branding (your logo and style across all embeds), visibility control by user role and ad insertion inside embedded content, with control over style and duration. The paid plans also include analytics for embedded content.
Embedding does not give you rights over the content
The plugin makes the technique easy, but it does not solve the legal side. Embedding your own video is no problem; embedding third-party content depends on its owner not considering it an infringement. If you plan to monetize a third-party embed with ads, check that platform's terms first.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The URL of the content you want to display is enough.
Does it work with my page builder?
With Gutenberg, Elementor and Divi for PDFs and Google documents.
Can I embed content from any website?
Only from the 250+ supported sources or those that can be embedded by their URL. Check in your specific case that the platform you use is among them.
Can it protect paid content?
It lets you limit an embed's visibility by user role, but it does not replace a full membership system.
