About Enginir – Industrial & Engineering Multipurpose WordPress Theme

An engineering firm does not sell a product: it sells judgement

It is the difference from a factory, and it decides what has to be on the website.

A manufacturer shows what they make: here is the machine, these are its specifications, this is its output. The buyer compares specifications.

An engineering firm has none of that. What it sells is the ability to solve a problem that is not yet defined: sizing an installation, choosing the right technology, meeting a regulation, making a plant produce twenty per cent more without stopping production. The client cannot compare specifications because the deliverable does not exist until it is made.

Which is why the only thing they can assess is whether you already solved something like theirs. And that turns the project portfolio into the entire product.

Enginir is an industrial and engineering WordPress theme for chemical plants, construction, energy, gas, machinery, manufacturing and refineries.

What it contributes

  • An engineering firm structure, presenting services and projects.
  • Broad subsector coverage: chemical, energy, gas, machinery, manufacturing, refining.
  • A multipurpose approach, versatile enough to adapt to different industrial businesses.

How an engineering project gets told

With the same structure every time, and it works because it is the one a colleague would use to understand it.

The problem, with its constraints. What was there, what was not working, what limits the commission carried: production could not stop, there was only so much space, the regulation required this. The constraints are the interesting part, because anybody can solve a problem with no restrictions.

The solution and why that one. What was ruled out and why. That is where the judgement shows, which is exactly what the client is buying.

The outcome, with numbers. Consumption before and after, downtime, actual delivery time, return. A project with no figures is an anecdote.

The client's sector and size. Without naming them where there is confidentiality, but saying "chemical plant of such capacity" or "installation of so many megawatts". The reader is looking for one like theirs.

And the piece holding it all up: the engineers, by name and with their registration. Many projects require a signature from a competent professional, and knowing who signs is a purchasing condition, not a courtesy.

The warning about being multipurpose

This theme presents itself for seven or eight different subsectors, and that is worth reading properly: what changes between them are the demos, not the features. Underneath there is one corporate theme with different sets of templates.

It is not a fault. For an engineering firm it is exactly what is needed, because what you require is service pages, a well-laid-out portfolio and a form that works. You just have to buy knowing what you are buying and not expect features specific to your subsector.

Requirements

It needs WordPress. Downloadable technical documents and the long enquiry form get solved separately.

Alternatives in the catalogue

If your company manufactures rather than designs, the approach changes and there are themes focused on that: Industrium puts the weight on corporate solidity and senior management, and Manufaktur Solutions on datasheets and certifications, with eight examples on Elementor.

If you do civil engineering or building work, BildPress is built for construction firms and contractors, and if you hire out machinery, Antek.

If your engineering is in building and the portfolio rules, a practice theme gives a better result: Brok brings project pages with technical data.

And the pieces needed: Request a Quote for quote requests, WS Form PRO for the technical form in steps, and E2Pdf if you need to generate the proposal or the data sheet as a document with your template.

Frequently asked questions

What should a project page carry?
The problem with its constraints, the solution and why that one, and the outcome with figures.

Can I publish projects with a confidential client?
Yes, describing the sector and size without naming them. The reader is looking for one like theirs.

Why name the engineers?
Because many projects require a competent professional's signature, and knowing who signs is a purchasing condition.

Is it specific to my subsector?
What changes between subsectors are the demos, not the features. Underneath it is a corporate theme.

Should prices be published?
No. In engineering the price comes from the scope, and the right route is a proposal request.

And the technical documents?
Downloadable and accessible. The industrial client assembles a file before deciding.
