Batch importing from TMDB: movies and TV shows
The plugin connects to The Movie Database (TMDB) API and lets you search for titles from the WordPress dashboard and bring them in all at once into custom post types. There is one importer for movies and another for TV series.

What you need and what is not included
To import you need an API key from your TMDB account. Creating the account and getting the key is free, but without it the plugin brings in nothing. Your own reviews, ratings or a video player are not part of what it does, so if you want a full streaming site you will have to solve that part with other tools.

Imported titles do not appear in a foreign design: they are listed in a way similar to your theme's blog page. This means the final look depends on your theme. If you want very cinematic entries, with large backgrounds or carousels, you will have to build them separately.

Before importing anything, create your TMDB account and request the API key. With it set up, start with a small search to see how the entries look in your theme and which data you do not need. Disable what you will not use and only then run large batches. That way you avoid filling the database with content you will have to delete later.
