About Event Tickets Plus

Sell tickets without a platform taking its cut

Running an event is expensive enough without a third party keeping a percentage of every ticket, and without your attendee list ending up on a platform you don't control. Event Tickets Plus brings all of that into your WordPress site: you create tickets and RSVPs from the dashboard, sell with no per-ticket commission or platform percentage, and each attendee's data stays on your site.

What few people tell you about the events business is that money isn't lost on the day of the sale but on the day of the event: queues at the door, paper lists, people who said they were coming and don't show up, catering estimated by eye. A good part of the plugin is designed for that day.

Event Tickets Plus and tiered pricing

You can sell the same event at several prices: early bird, general admission, student or members only. Each tier has its own price, capacity and sale window, so the price goes up on its own when the deadline passes, without you having to remember.

A real-time stock countdown shows how many spots are left. It helps with people who are undecided: seeing spots run out pushes harder than any reminder email.

If the event is free, advanced RSVPs offer attendee tracking, waitlists and capacity management. That way your headcount is accurate even when you don't charge, which matters more than it seems when you have to book a venue or food.

Per-attendee forms: this is where the catering comes from

Custom registration forms ask for what you really need, and they do it for each attendee, not just the buyer: dietary needs, t-shirt size, session preference or any other detail. If someone buys five tickets in one order, you get five records, not one.

After that you manage everything from WordPress:

  • A dashboard with every ticket sold and every guest registered, with filters and one-click CSV export.
  • Refunds and attendee list exports.
  • A confirmation email with your logo and the event details for every order, with no manual follow-up.

Door access depends on your team's phones

The plugin solves the digital side of the door, but the logistics are still yours. Here is how it breaks down:

  • Already solved: QR code scanning from iOS or Android, working offline and syncing when reconnected.
  • Already solved: unlimited ticket types, tiers, capacities and sale windows.
  • Already solved: per-attendee data collection, waitlists and export.
  • You cover: the phones and the people scanning at the entrance, and testing the flow before the day of the event.
  • You cover: promoting the event and the page content, which depend on your site and your calendar.
  • You cover: the legal and tax information for your sales and the personal data you collect in the forms, which you must handle according to the regulations that apply to you.

Before buying, check in the demo how the event page looks with your theme and whether the calendar you use fits the plugin.

WooCommerce store and payments with Stripe

If you already sell products with WooCommerce, tickets appear in the same cart and go through the same checkout your customers already know. You can sell the ticket and the event t-shirt in a single purchase.

To get paid, you just connect one Stripe account, which covers cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The terms of that account are Stripe's, not the plugin's.

Frequently asked questions about Event Tickets Plus

Does it charge a commission per ticket?

The plugin applies no per-ticket commission or platform percentage. The fees on your payments account are separate, so check them.

Can you scan without internet?

Yes. QR scanning from iOS or Android works offline and syncs when the device reconnects.

Does it work for free events?

Yes, with advanced RSVPs: attendee tracking, waitlists and capacity management.

Can I ask each attendee for different details?

Yes. Custom forms collect data per attendee, such as diet, size or chosen session, and you can export it to CSV.
