About Exhibz Event Conference Theme

A conference gets sold before it exists

It is this sector's particularity and the one that decides how the website has to be built.

In March you open ticket sales for October. You have three confirmed speakers out of twelve, the programme half done, the headline sponsor still in negotiation and not one photograph of the event, because the event has not happened. And even so you need somebody to pay three hundred today for coming.

That turns the website into a problem of credibility with incomplete information, which is very different from presenting something finished. Exhibz is an event theme for conferences, seminars, symposia and meetings, built on Elementor.

What it brings

  • Ticket selling with the Eventin plugin, over WooCommerce, so payment is included in the approach.
  • Zoom webinar management, for remote or hybrid events.
  • Several events at once, as well as the single event and the one-page version.
  • Over five schedule layouts and two speaker layouts, with an archive page.
  • The Elementor builder, fifteen homepage variations and eight header layouts.
  • One-click demo import and right-to-left language support.

Ticket selling being included changes a fair amount

It is the practical difference from most event themes, which present the event and leave the payment to you.

Here the ticketing plugin comes in the package and runs on WooCommerce, which means the ticket is a product in your shop: same coupons, same reports, same tax and same orders panel. For a small organiser that saves an external platform's commission and leaves them the attendee data, which is theirs rather than a middleman's.

The other side, and worth saying: selling the tickets yourself means the technical risk is yours. If your server does not hold up on the day sales open, there is nobody to call. For a two hundred person conference that is rarely a problem; for one with three thousand tickets released at a set hour, an external platform charges a commission precisely for carrying that risk.

What to put on the site while the programme is half done

Four things that sustain advance selling, and none needs the event to be finalised.

Date, city and venue, at the top and large. It is the first thing anybody needing to book a day off and look at flights has to know.

The confirmed speakers, even if there are three. With photograph, role and what they will talk about. Three good ones sell more than twelve names with no context.

Previous editions, if there are any. Photographs of a full room, videos of talks, who came. It is what convinces the undecided, and why last year's site should never be deleted.

The price with its increase date. Early bird works because it has a credible, published deadline, not because you say so.

Requirements

It needs WordPress and Elementor. For ticket selling, WooCommerce and the events plugin. For webinars, a Zoom account.

Alternatives in the catalogue

ITConf covers the same conference and professional symposium ground, and it is worth comparing the two on how they present the programme, which is the most consulted page.

If your event is festive rather than professional, the approach is different: Muzicon is built for festivals, concerts and clubs. And for weddings and celebrations, Avala.

If what you organise is appointed sessions rather than an event with capacity, that is a diary and not a conference: BookingPress or Amelia.

And since the theme is built with Elementor, if you are going to construct a good number of pages by hand Royal Elementor Addons extends the builder with elements the standard one does not bring.

Frequently asked questions

Does it include ticket selling?
Yes, with the Eventin plugin over WooCommerce, so the ticket is a product in your shop.

Is it suitable for online events?
Yes, it has Zoom integration for webinars and remote events.

Can I manage several events?
Yes, it allows for a single event, several events and a one-page version.

Does it need Elementor?
Yes, the pages get built with the builder.

Should I sell the tickets myself?
For small capacities it usually works out. With thousands released at a set hour, the technical risk weighs.

What do I put up if the programme is not finalised?
Date and venue, the confirmed speakers, the previous edition and the price with its increase date.
