About Extreme

Selling sneakers and sportswear online has a catch: the catalog multiplies into sizes, colors and brands, and if the store doesn't help people find their way, the customer goes back to a big brand they already know. Extreme is designed for the shopper who arrives looking for something specific, soccer boots or running tights, and wants to get there without going around in circles.

Extreme organizes the catalog by who uses it, by sport and by brand

The demo menu splits the store into Men, Women and Kids, and each group repeats the same subcategories: t-shirts, clothing, accessories, shoes and bags. There is also a sales section. The footer opens two more ways in: footwear and clothing organized by sport (running, soccer, basketball, golf, tennis and more) and a list of brands.

Home page, filters and product listing: what the visitor sees in Extreme

  • Three home page variants to choose how to present the store.
  • Promotional top bar to announce a discount or a free shipping threshold, and a mini cart always within reach.
  • Featured products with a category filter (soccer, running, lifestyle, training, basketball) and sorting by date, title or price.
  • New arrivals with a crossed-out sale price and a select options button on products with variants, such as size or color.
  • Customer reviews and related articles on the home page, and a subscription form with a discount in the footer.

All of this is the demo mockup: what your store shows will depend on the products, variations and reviews you load yourself.

A training and nutrition blog

The demo includes news in classic and masonry layouts, with sample articles on athlete nutrition, supplements, marathon strength training and foam rolling. Of course, you write the texts; the theme only provides the storefront.

Sizes, shipping and payments don't come solved

Split the work like this:

  • Already solved by the theme: the look of the store, the category menu, the home page with featured products, the listing with filters, the mini cart, the blog and pages such as About Us, Team, Services, FAQ, Contact, 404 and Privacy Policy.
  • You cover with a plugin: payment gateways, shipping rates and zones, taxes and the size and color variations of each product.
  • You prepare by hand: a size guide, the returns policy and the legal texts.
  • To check in the demo or with an extra plugin: the store locator and gift cards appear as footer links; don't assume they work without further setup.

Frequently asked questions about Extreme

Is it good for anything other than sports clothing and footwear?

Its structure (men, women, kids, shoes, bags, accessories) fits fashion in general, but the visual style and the examples are sports-oriented. If your store is in another sector, look closely at the demo before deciding.

Can I use it just as a sports blog?

It has news layouts and informational pages, but most of the design is focused on the store. For a blog with no sales, check whether it's worth it.

Do the demo products and brands come with it?

Treat the demo's products, brands, reviews and articles as sample content. You will have to load your own photos, descriptions and prices.
