For the photographer or designer who wants their work to fill the whole screen
A portfolio is judged quickly: someone visiting to hire you decides at a glance whether your work fits what they need, and a site that hides it behind menus and long texts loses that chance. Fightex opens with fullscreen background video or images so the first thing people see is your work.
It suits you if you are a photographer, artist or designer and plan to build your pages with Elementor. It may not be your theme if:
- You don't want to use Elementor: the theme is built on that page builder.
- You are looking for an online store: it offers a portfolio and a standard blog, not ecommerce features.
- You want a background video with no consequences: it weighs much more than an image, so a short, compressed clip is best.

Fewer technical tweaks between you and a published site
These pieces are meant so you don't start from zero:
- One-click demo data importer and XML dummy content, to see the site already built and then replace texts and images with your own.

How your portfolio looks to visitors
The site adapts to desktop, tablet and mobile, and is built for retina screens, which matters when you sell imagery. The dropdown menu works on mobile, there is touch and swipe support and animation effects with Animate CSS. It also comes with Font Awesome icons.
For long lists of projects, it has a load more button, which avoids an endless page. The blog follows a standard format: it works for publishing news or work processes, without magazine ambitions.
Common questions before choosing Fightex
Does it work without Elementor?
That is not what it is designed for. The theme is meant to work with Elementor, so you need it active to build the pages as in the demo.
Can I use my own background video?
The theme is designed for covers with fullscreen background video and images. Even so, check in the demo how it behaves on your phone and use a lightweight video.
Can I sell my photos or designs with it?
Not as a store. It is a theme for showing work; if you need to take payments on the site, you would have to solve that with another tool.
Do I need to know how to code?
Not for the basics: the demo importer and the options panel cover most of it. The child theme and clean code are there for those who want to go further.
