Floka: a theme for people who make a living showing their work and often show it badly
An agency or freelancer usually has the most neglected website of all the ones they have built: there is always an urgent client first. The result is a portfolio with projects from two years ago, an improvised menu and a services page copied from somewhere else. Floka is designed to break that loop: it comes with ready-made homepage layouts and is edited with Elementor, so updating your showcase does not depend on a developer.
What Floka does with Elementor, the menu and the design options
Floka is built on the Elementor page builder and adds more than 50 widgets of its own. The most useful features for an agency:
- Header and footer builder: choose one of the included designs and adjust it, or build your own.
- Mega menu: supports navigation, images, icons and several columns, and is edited with Elementor. It helps organize services, cases and sectors without an endless list.
- Per-page options: each page or post can override the global settings, for example for a landing page with a different header.
- Colors and typography: changed from the theme options to match your brand, with no code.
- Video backgrounds and parallax: in sliders, sections and page headers.
- One page navigation: with smooth scrolling, useful for a single-page website.
Three ways to make the most of Floka depending on who you are
Agency or studio with a team
The 12+ homepages work as a base to present services, team and case studies. One-click demo content import gives you the structure and you only need to replace the text and images. It includes a blank child theme to keep your code changes.
Freelance designer, developer or SEO
The carousels let you build a personal website without a generic design. Slider Revolution is included for a homepage with movement, and you can combine pages from the demos instead of starting from scratch.
Startup or technology company
With WPML you can build the site in several languages, and the Mailchimp integration connects subscriptions to your list. For contact, it is compatible with Contact Form 7.
If you also want to sell: WooCommerce
Floka is ready for WooCommerce, with several layouts for the shop page and for displaying products, and it supports various product types. It is useful if you offer packages or digital products alongside your portfolio. Keep in mind: WooCommerce is a separate plugin that you must install yourself, and a serious store requires setting up payments, taxes and shipping on your own.
