About FooEvents Bookings Plugin
An empty slot at 10:00 can't be sold at 11:00
Anyone who lives on bookings (classes, tours, consulting, space rental) tends to run the schedule between phone calls, emails and a spreadsheet, and every crossed message ends in unsold gaps or two customers for the same time. Unlike a shop product, a spot that doesn't fill today can't be sold tomorrow: it expires with the clock. FooEvents Bookings starts from that idea and turns every date and every slot into its own stock inside WooCommerce.
How FooEvents Bookings organizes dates, slots and spots
Each booking is sold as a WooCommerce product, so the customer uses the usual cart, payment and order. What changes is that they pick a date and slot before buying.
- Slot builder with drag and drop: you arrange dates, times, availability and display order.
- Booking wizard: generates many dates at once from a start date, an end date, the days of the week and the default stock.
- Stock per slot: limited or unlimited, date by date.
- Four selection modes: date then slot, slot then date, several slots on the same day, or one slot across several dates.
- Availability in plain sight: remaining spots appear above the selectors or inside the date dropdown. You can hide sold-out dates or stop customers from booking full slots.
- Automatic expiry: bookings expire once the date has passed or a set time before they start.
- Optional times: you can leave slots without a time if day-based availability is enough.
It's an extension and doesn't work on its own
It needs FooEvents for WooCommerce installed and active. The calendar view for visitors requires FooEvents Calendar, and attendance control is done with the FooEvents Check-ins apps. Payment and orders follow the standard WooCommerce flow.
Automatic Zoom and a dashboard for everyday work
If you offer consulting, classes or workshops online, the plugin can create Zoom meetings or webinars for the slots and dates you choose.
Bookings can be viewed and sorted from the WordPress dashboard, with date, slot and ticket details. If a customer needs to change day or time, you can reassign their date and slot from the admin area. You can also rename terms such as «Slot», «Date» or «Booking details» so they read as sessions, appointments, tours or classes.
Frequently asked questions about FooEvents Bookings
Is it suitable for services that aren't events?
Yes. Since you can rename the terms, it works equally for sessions, appointments, tours or classes with limited spots.
Does it work without FooEvents for WooCommerce?
No. It is an extension and depends on that core plugin.
Can I show bookings in a calendar?
Yes, with FooEvents Calendar, which is a separate piece.
Can I change the date of a booking that has already been purchased?
Yes, from the admin area you can update the assigned date and slot.
Does it create Zoom meetings automatically?
Yes, for the slots and dates you select.
Core plugin first, slots afterwards
The order matters: install and activate FooEvents for WooCommerce, add Bookings and create the bookable product. Use the wizard to generate the dates for the period you want in one go, then adjust exceptions one by one. Before publishing, decide which selection mode customers will see and check in the demo which one is clearest for your service.
