About FooEvents Multi-day Plugin
When the event lasts a weekend and the door only opens once
Selling a three-day pass seems simple until Saturday arrives: who came on Friday, who is coming in for the first time today, how many people are really in the room? With a ticket that is validated only once, you know who showed up at some point, but not who attended each day.
FooEvents Multi-day fills that gap: it extends FooEvents events so that each day has its own dates, its own times and its own access record. A conference or a retreat is planned day by day, and it makes sense to count real attendance the same way.
What you can define day by day in FooEvents Multi-day
- Consecutive days or separate dates: from Friday to Sunday, or just the chosen days of a workshop spread across a month.
- Times for each day: a different start and end time each day, or the same times for all of them if the schedule is regular.
- Dates on the ticket: attendees see which day or days their ticket applies to and how the event is organized.
- Separate check-in per day: a person can be checked in on each day, instead of only once for the whole event.
- Calendar: multi-day events, consecutive or on separate dates, display correctly in FooEvents Calendar.
Everything is sold through WooCommerce, so the purchase process remains that of your store.
Three event formats and how each one fits
Conferences, festivals and retreats
This is the clearest use: a block of consecutive days, with times that can change from one day to the next. The useful part is the daily access control, because it tells you how many people came each day and not just how many registered.
Workshops and training spread across the calendar
If your course runs on chosen dates, for example one Saturday a week, you can mark only those days without inventing in-between days. Students see on their ticket when they need to attend.
Virtual or hybrid events
For each day you can create or assign a Zoom meeting or webinar, and attendees are registered automatically when they buy their ticket. That way each online day has its own room.
Common questions about days, tickets and check-ins
Can I set different times each day? Yes, or repeat the same times on every day.
Does the attendee get in once or every day? You can register their access separately on each day.
Does it work for dates that are not consecutive? Yes, in addition to consecutive events.
Can I see the event in a calendar? Yes, with FooEvents Calendar, which is another FooEvents extension.
It needs FooEvents for WooCommerce to work
It is not a standalone plugin: it is an extension that only works on top of the main FooEvents for WooCommerce plugin, which in turn runs on WooCommerce. To see events in a calendar you also need FooEvents Calendar. Check in the demo how the ticket looks with several days before you decide.
