Formidable Forms Geolocation Addon is for those who already collect addresses: shops with a payment form, shipments of samples or prizes, appointments, community sign-ups. Before choosing it, be clear about this:
- It is an add-on for Formidable Forms: you need that form plugin, it does not work on its own.
- It works with Google Maps, so the autocomplete and the map are Google's.
- If your forms never ask for an address, it adds nothing.
What users see with Formidable Forms Geolocation Addon
The add-on brings three features to the forms you have already built:
- Address autocomplete: as the person types, Google Maps suggests and completes the address, so valid addresses come in.
- Current location: the form shows the user's location on a Google map.
- Single location: users can change the location on the map as they type their address with autocomplete.
Because it is part of Formidable's drag and drop builder, you can use it on any type of form: payment, conditional logic, registration. It adapts to your theme's style, you don't need to code to turn it on and, if you know code, you can customize it further.
Checkout and shipping: where a badly typed street gets expensive
