About Formidable Forms Pro – WordPress Form Builder

The data you already collect and nobody looks at again

Many forms end the same way: an email alert arrives, the entry sits in a table in the dashboard and nobody opens it again. If you collect quote requests, registrations or property listings, what matters is what you do with those answers afterwards, not the submission itself.

Formidable Forms Pro starts from that idea. Besides building the form, it lets you show entries on the public side of your site as directories, listings, calendars or timelines, run calculations on what the user types and automate what happens after submission. For a site with a single contact form it is more tool than you need; for everything else, it saves you from combining several plugins.

Formidable Forms Pro depending on the project you have in hand

If you are a freelancer or work at an agency

One client asks for a calculator, another for a member directory and another for user registration. With a single plugin you get form templates (contact, invoice, quote, survey, newsletter) and application templates (event calendar, member directory, job board, real estate listings). When the job goes beyond the usual, you can edit the form HTML and add your own code.

If you sell services by quote

A catering company, a renovation or an event has no fixed price: it depends on dates, number of guests, type of service and available budget. A quote request form with conditional logic shows only the questions that apply to each case, and calculations let you return a figure right away instead of waiting for someone to reply.

If you build a community, a directory or a job board

Here the form is only the entry point. Views turn what people submit into cards, tables or profiles visible on your site, without custom development. If you also need sign-ups, you have user registration and multi-page forms with save and continue.

What the form itself does: style, payments and automation

  • Visual design: a drag-and-drop editor with color controls, flexible layouts and mobile responsiveness, so the form doesn't look like an afterthought.
  • More completed submissions: conditional logic and prefilled forms make it easier for users to reach the end. There are also quizzes and conversational forms.
  • Payments: payments, subscriptions and donations by connecting to Stripe, PayPal, Square or Authorize.net.
  • Integrations: Mailchimp, HubSpot, Zapier, Salesforce, Google Sheets, webhooks, WooCommerce or ACF, so every submission reaches its destination without copying data by hand.
  • Automation: email notifications and triggers you set up once and that work on their own in the background.

Questions asked by people about to install it

Do I need to know how to code?

Not to build forms or basic web applications. If a project needs something very specific, you have access to the form HTML and can add custom code.

Can I use it for a client?

Yes, it is common in freelancer and agency work. Just think about how many client sites you will manage before setting up the project.

Is it only for contact forms?

No, and that is the point: calculators, directories, listings, job boards, calendars and payments all come from the same plugin.

Does it slow down the site?

It is built with performance in mind. As with any plugin, the more Views and automations you add, the more it pays to test the site with real data.

It only works on WordPress sites and payments depend on a gateway

It is a WordPress plugin: it does not work on sites that don't use that system. To take payments you need an account with one of the supported gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Square or Authorize.net); the plugin does not process payments by itself. And directories or applications with your own data call for thinking ahead about which fields to collect and how they will be displayed; check the demos and templates to see whether the result looks like what you want.
