About Foton – Software and App Landing Page Theme

A software website that gets understood before the visitor loses interest

Whoever launches an app or a SaaS often has a good product and a website that explains it badly: too much text, hidden pricing or a homepage identical to the competition's. Foton starts from there: it is a theme designed for startups, software companies, mobile apps and digital agencies that need to present a product and tweak the message without asking a developer for help.

People buying software compare it with two or three alternatives in different tabs, so the website has to answer three doubts early: what it does, how much it costs and how it differs.

Nine homepages and the blocks to build your own

Foton includes 9 homepages and a collection of inner pages. They are edited with WPBakery Page Builder, which is included, and with Slider Revolution, also included. What matters most on a software website:

  • Pricing tables and a plan comparison table, to show what each plan includes.
  • Process, progress bars and item showcase, to explain how the app works step by step.
  • Video button, video backgrounds and parallax sections, for the product demo.
  • Team, testimonials and calls to action, to put a face to the company and push visitors to sign up.

There are limits worth knowing. The Twitter and Instagram blocks depend on those networks' APIs, which have changed a lot: don't count on live feeds without checking them in the demo. And it is a presentation theme: it integrates with WooCommerce, but it is not designed as a large store.

Frequently asked questions about Foton

Does it work for a one-page landing?

Yes, it has anchor links for one-page sites, a configurable menu and header, and several header types.

Can I build a multilingual website?

It is translation ready, compatible with WPML and supports right-to-left languages.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Customization is done from the admin panel and with the editor blocks. If you want deeper changes, it supports a child theme.

Can I have a tech blog?

Yes. It includes several list layouts (standard, masonry), post formats (video, audio, gallery, quote, link), a post slider block and a social sharing option.

Headers, logos and footer: the part nobody plans

A software website changes tone from page to page: a dark homepage, a light blog, a sober pricing page. Foton lets you change the header style from one section to another, upload different logos for the regular, sticky and mobile headers, and variants for light and dark backgrounds. There are standard, minimal and vertical headers, a side area and a mega menu.

The footer supports up to four columns on top and three below, with an optional uncovering effect. You also get more than 800 Google Fonts and seven icon sets.

The demo imports with one click, but the content is yours

Foton lets you import the demo content with a single click, which is the fastest way to see how each homepage is built. Import first on a test site and choose the homepage closest to your product. Then replace texts, screenshots and logos, and check the social media blocks and the forms (it integrates with Contact Form 7, which you must install separately).

If your product needs a lot of technical text, use the inner pages and the blog instead of overloading the homepage.
