About FS WooCommerce Wallet
For the store with repeat customers, not for one-time buyers
When a customer asks for a refund, the usual route is to send the money back to the card, pay the gateway fee and lose the future sale. An internal wallet changes that split: the balance stays in your store and the customer has a reason to come back. FS WooCommerce Wallet is built for that.
It suits you if you sell products people buy again (supplies, manual subscriptions, courses, top-ups) or if you want to reward loyalty with cashback. It does not suit you if each customer buys only once, because the balance would sit unused. Nor if your site is a multisite installation: the plugin is not built for that environment.
How money moves inside FS WooCommerce Wallet
The customer pays the order with the balance already deposited. If it falls short, they can use the balance as a partial payment and cover the rest with another payment method. If the order fails, the partial payment is refunded automatically.
There are three ways to load balance, and they can be combined:
- Predefined top-up packages, with an optional bonus.
- A custom amount typed by the customer.
- Hidden credit products: they are created in the WooCommerce Wallet Credit category and do not appear in the shop.
There is also an option to disable all other payment methods except top-ups, useful if you want the balance to be used only in a specific way.
Refunds and withdrawals: you decide who bears the fee
This is the control people appreciate most. You can return an amount to the wallet instead of the original payment method, and customers can submit refund requests when you enable them. You approve or reject them, define the reasons and, when approving, you can set a custom amount.
Refund, withdrawal and transfer fees are configured as a fixed amount or a percentage. You can also set minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts. Unanswered requests appear first, and the amount of a withdrawal is held until you approve or reject it (only for requests sent after that improvement).
Cashback and rewards: build loyalty without cutting prices
Cashback is configured per product or variation, as a fixed amount or a percentage of the price, and is credited only to the customer's wallet. That way the discount only materializes if they buy again. There is also a registration reward for new users and an option to disable the wallet when the cart contains products on sale, so you don't stack promotions by accident.
Dashboard and customer control
- List of customers with wallet activity (with an option to show everyone).
- Add or withdraw funds manually and lock wallets: a locked wallet cannot be used at checkout.
- Transaction history filterable by user, and export of transactions and withdrawal requests.
- Customers see their full history from their WooCommerce account.
Balances are encrypted, so altering them by hand in the database is not possible.
Shortcodes, menu and languages
There are three shortcodes for pages or widgets: [fsww_deposit] for the top-up form, [fsww_balance] to show the balance and [fsww_transactions_history] for the history. The balance can also appear in the menu with its own icon, once enabled in the settings. It includes .po, .pot and .mo files for translation.

Frequently asked questions
Can the customer pay only part of an order with the balance?
Yes. If the balance does not cover the total, it uses what is available and the rest is paid with another method.
Can money be returned to a card?
The plugin is oriented to returning funds to the wallet instead of the original method, and to handling withdrawals by request, with bank transfer (BACS) as an option.
Does it work with currencies with many decimals?
Yes, it supports currencies with long decimals, such as cryptocurrencies.
Does it work on multisite?
No, it is not built for multisite installations.
