The cart that appears without taking the customer off the page
WooCommerce's default flow leaks in one very specific place: the customer adds something to the cart and the store sends them to the cart page. They have left the listing they were browsing, and going back is another click plenty of people never make. Every added product costs two page loads that contribute nothing.
FunnelKit Cart replaces that jump with a side panel that slides in from the edge of the screen the moment an item is added. The customer sees what they have, adjusts what they want, and carries on shopping where they were.
What can be done without a reload
- Change quantities with plus and minus steppers, right there.
- Remove items.
- Apply a coupon, with its field inside the panel itself.
- Pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay, straight from the cart.
The floating icon shows the item count, and there is a shortcode to place it in the menu as well.
What turns the cart into somewhere selling happens
A well-built side cart is not only convenience, it is the last moment the customer still has their wallet open. The Pro version uses that moment:
- Free shipping progress bar, with messaging based on what is still missing. It is one of the few tools that lift average order value without being irritating.
- In-cart recommendations, cross-sells and upsells.

Appearance and languages
Colours and branding are set from within the plugin. It is compatible with WPML, Polylang, TranslatePress and Weglot for multilingual sites.
One practical warning
It works with any WooCommerce-compatible theme, but the problems that do appear tend to come from two places: caching plugins and JavaScript conflicts. If something stops responding, the first thing to check is the cache exclusion list.
