About Furry – Pet Grooming WordPress Theme
Furry and the services owners never knew existed
Someone who takes their dog or cat to a grooming salon can't see what happens behind the door, and rarely knows what can be requested beyond a bath. If your website only says «dog grooming» and a phone number, the customer compares by proximity or by price.
That is the truth about this sector: your menu of services is longer than your customers imagine, and your website is the only place where you can explain it calmly.
A page for each treatment
The demo comes with separate service pages, so that each treatment has its own space and its own explanation:
- Competition grooming and regularly scheduled grooming.
- Bath, brush and nails.
- Face, feet and tail: nail care, eye drainage problems and tail hair.
- Dental care.
- Specialty care, such as flea dips, deep coat conditioning or massages.
Team, gallery and reviews to put the owner at ease
Leaving an animal in someone else's hands is an emotional decision. That is why Furry gives weight to people: there are profile pages for each team member, a gallery to show your four-legged clients by name, a testimonials block and a «Why us» page where you can explain your reasons. The demo also includes a contact page and an FAQ page. All that material (real photos, team stories, genuine reviews) has to come from you: the theme only gives it a place.
Booking appointments is up to you, with another plugin
The demo shows a call to check available dates, but don't assume the theme manages a calendar: check in the demo where that button leads. This is what is already solved and what you have to cover:
- Already solved: three header styles and three footer styles, pages for services, team, gallery, contact and FAQ, several blog layouts, and maintenance, coming soon, 404 and password-protected pages.
- You cover it with a plugin: an appointment calendar with reminders, and any payment or deposit.
- You cover it by hand: the texts and photos for each service, your rates, and the cookie notice and privacy policy, which you will have to write for your own case.
- You cover it with a professional: any design change that goes beyond the theme's options.
A blog to answer what owners already search for
Pet owners search for things like why dogs and cats shed, how to groom a long-haired dog or what to do about eye drainage. The demo includes posts in that vein, and they are a good hint for your own content. The blog supports list, masonry and grid layouts (also in three columns), with a left sidebar, a right sidebar or none. It also has gallery, link, image, video, quote and audio post formats. A salon that answers questions earns trust before the first appointment.
Frequently asked questions about Furry
Is it suitable for a veterinary clinic?
It is designed around grooming and the cosmetic and wellness care of pets. For a clinic you would have to adapt the content, and you shouldn't expect medical records or patient management.
Can I change the look of the header and footer?
Yes, there are three styles of each to choose from, plus dedicated header and footer settings.
Can I keep the site closed while I prepare it?
Yes, the demo includes a coming soon page and a maintenance page, useful while you finish uploading services and photos.
