A new build and a weekend repair do not sell the same way
A company that builds houses also gets calls about a kitchen remodel or a door that will not close. If the site tries to speak to all of them at once, nobody recognizes themselves in it: whoever commissions a home wants to see finished work, and whoever has a breakdown wants to know if you can come this week.
Gable, by ThemeREX, brings four home pages that answer that difference: Building Company, Construction, Handyman and House Remodeling. They look like four designs, but they are four ways of deciding what you sell first. The long project leans on the portfolio; the short service, on a clear list of jobs and a button to request a quote.
So the first decision is not aesthetic. Look at which job brings you the most work and the best margin, and choose the home page that talks to that customer. The other services fit on inner pages.
What Gable brings to a building company

How it is edited and which plugins come along
Page content is modified with Elementor, as are headers and footers, and the theme is compatible with Elementor Pro. What does not go through the builder is set in its own panel and in more than 750 Customizer options.
It includes Slider Revolution and Swiper Slider, and has its own post types, widgets and shortcodes. Compatible plugins include ThemeREX Addons, ThemeREX Updater, Contact Form 7, MC4WP for Mailchimp, Advanced Popups, AI Engine, elegro Crypto Payment and TI WooCommerce Wishlist. It is also compatible with WPML if you work in several languages.
The list is long, so install only what you will use. A builder without a shop does not need the wishlist or crypto payments.
How far Gable goes in running the business
It presents the company, it does not administer it. Its features do not include job tracking, invoicing or a client area.
Its features do not include a quote calculator. The demo has a page to request one, and the amount is yours to give.
For the shop, bear in mind that WooCommerce compatibility reaches the 8.x series.
Do the first installation in a test environment to see which plugins your site needs.
Gable requirements and first steps
It is compatible with WordPress 4.9.x to 7.0.x and WooCommerce 5.x to 8.x.
- Decide which job you want to attract and choose the home page that matches it.
- Install the theme and use the one-click demo import.
- Create one page per real service and delete the sample ones you will not fill.
- Upload your jobs to the portfolio before adjusting colors and fonts.
- Test the quote request and check that the notice reaches whoever replies.

Yes, one of its home pages is Handyman. Start from it and remove what talks about large projects.
Can construction and remodeling be combined?
Yes, with one main home page and inner pages for each service.
