On a screen, a stone from a rigorous workshop and one from a careless shop can look equally good. Buyers know this. That is why a brilliant gallery tells them little: they look at the piece and are left with the question that matters, where it comes from and who stands behind what the certificate says.

In this sector, what can be checked from a distance is the method, not the stone. A wholesaler or jeweler who does not know you judges how you cut, how you polish, how you grade and what certification backs that work. A site that only shows product leaves unanswered what decides the first order.

Gemzie, by Peacefulqode, is a WordPress theme for diamond manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and jewelers. It has pages designed to explain the manufacturing process.

Turning each stage into proof

The demo shows a process section with four steps: Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat. That structure is a good starting point, and it gains value when each step talks about your workshop.

• Cutting and polishing: photograph your own workshop and name the team you work with.
• Grading: explain who grades the stones and by what criteria.
• Certification: name the certificates you issue or receive and show a real example.
• Export: list only the countries you truly sell to.

What is missing when you open the Gemzie package

Three things are worth being clear about before choosing it:

• The demo images are not in the download. You need your own photos.
• Part of the text is filler. The demo certification card, for example, says nothing real.
• The shop is not set up. Gemzie is compatible with WooCommerce for selling selected products, collections or sample pieces, but the demo menu shows no shop or cart.

Among its features there is no stone catalog with carat or clarity filters, and no wholesale pricing. It is also not optimized for Gutenberg: you work with Elementor.

Required plugins and installation

Gemzie needs three plugins: design for Gemzie Theme, Elementor and Revolution Slider. Do not update plugins on your own without also updating the theme.

Before importing, raise these PHP limits: max_input_time and max_execution_time to 300, memory_limit to 128M or more, and upload_max_filesize and post_max_size to 8M or more.

1. Upload the theme zip from Appearance > Themes. If the style.css error appears, you uploaded the outer package instead of the inner zip.
2. Activate the theme and install the plugins from Appearance > Install Plugins.
3. Open the Gemzie menu, click Import Demo and wait for it to finish.
4. Adjust the site in Theme Options, with its General, Loader, 404 and Blog sections.
5. Replace the process page first, before the homepage.

Can I receive wholesale inquiries?

Yes, with a contact form. It is compatible with Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms and WPForms.

Does it need Elementor Pro?

It needs Elementor, and it is also compatible with Elementor Pro.

Can I sell directly?

Yes, with WooCommerce, which you will have to configure yourself and add to the menu.

Does it work for gemstones other than diamonds?

Yes. One of its focuses is gemstone processing, although the demo text talks about diamonds.
