About Gravity PDF Core Booster

Control over what goes into the PDF

Gravity PDF generates a document from a Gravity Forms entry, and its base templates do the obvious thing: they dump the form fields in order. That works until the day you need something else, and that day comes soon.

It usually arrives like this: the same form has to produce two different documents, one for the client and one for internal use. Or an introduction is needed before the data. Or the pricing block has to come out as a table rather than a list.

Core Booster adds exactly those controls to the Core and Universal templates.

Content and presentation

  • Rich text at the beginning of the PDF, before the form fields, with merge tag and image support. That is what lets you add a header, an explanation or terms and conditions.
  • Custom CSS for adjusting styling.
  • Configurable page margins, with different measurement units.

The fields

Here is the bulk of the add-on, and where producing different documents from one form gets solved:

  • Choosing which fields go in and in what order, rather than dumping them all.
  • Showing all available choices on radio, checkbox, select and multiselect fields, not only the chosen one. Useful for documents where what was rejected also matters.
  • Showing the label or the value of each choice, whichever suits.
  • Including the field description alongside the label and the response.
  • Label control: the standard one, the admin one, or none.

It also supports the Gravity Forms Image Choice field and JetSloth's Image Choices add-on, plus Gravity Wiz Nested Forms with three layout options.

Pricing and notes

Pricing fields can be shown as a table, individually, or excluded altogether, which is what you need when the internal document carries figures and the client's does not. Entry notes and metadata can also be included at the end of the document.

Requirements

Gravity PDF 6.0 or later. Includes one year of updates and support.
