Building your portfolio with Growth, step by step
Imagine you are a freelance designer who wants a site ready to send to potential clients. This would be the route:
- First, pick a starting point. The theme is built with Elementor, so the home page and sections are edited visually. It comes with several home page and header versions (a home page 9 and a header 9 being added), so you do not start from a blank page.
- Then, load sample content. It includes an XML dummy content file so you can reproduce the structure and swap in your own texts. The demo images are not part of the download: they are only for the preview, so you will have to add your own photos and projects.
- Next, adjust the look. It uses Google fonts and more than 5000 font icons, with smooth transitions. This lets you give each section its own character without touching code.
- Finally, open the door to contact. It includes a working contact form, which is what turns a visit into a commission.
What it needs to work like the demo
Growth needs Elementor, and you should expect to install several add-ons, including Growth Core and Elementsready. Check in the demo which specific elements you want to reuse.
Nor is it a theme for building a serious store: a shop is not its purpose, it is a personal portfolio. And since the code is designed to be customized, with HTML documentation, anyone who wants a result different from the demos will have to spend time adapting it.
