Your agency website is the first sample of your work
Building a digital agency's own website usually gets left for last: client projects first, your own house later. The result is sites with half-finished templates, filler text and a portfolio nobody updates. And whoever is evaluating you has seen nothing else of your work: they judge your design sense by that page.
Grupi is a theme built for digital, marketing, advertising, creative, video and technology agencies. What makes it useful is that it gives you pages that are already designed, so you can spend your time explaining what you do instead of drawing the structure.
From imported demo to published site: how Grupi comes together
This is the typical path for an agency getting started, with the limits you will run into at each step:
- Choosing and importing a demo. Grupi includes several agency demos and a one-click installer. It imports the sample content, so texts, images and case studies remain placeholders until you replace them with your own.
- Editing with Elementor. The theme works with this page builder: you drag elements, change styles and see the result before publishing. Besides the standard Elementor elements, it brings its own widgets, carousels, a header and footer builder, and a sticky menu when scrolling.
- Applying your brand. You can pick any Google Fonts typeface from the options panel, use any colors you want and add video or parallax backgrounds. Use the video background in a single section rather than everywhere.
- Setting up contact. It is compatible with Contact Form 7 and Multi Step Pro, but these are separate plugins you install yourself. For your newsletter there is Mailchimp compatibility, with the same caveat.
- Adding languages. It is ready for WPML and Polylang (plugins not included in the theme) and supports right-to-left languages.
- Showcasing projects. Revolution Slider is included for slider-based home pages.
Questions from someone about to choose Grupi
Do I need to know how to code?
Not for the usual work: you edit by dragging elements in Elementor. It comes with documentation and videos for the initial setup.
Can I have the site in several languages?
Yes, with WPML or Polylang installed separately. You have to do the translations yourself; the theme is only prepared to receive them.
Does it look good on mobile?
It is designed for mobile, desktop and retina screens. Even so, check in the demo how video backgrounds and animations behave on your own phone.
Can I sell online with it?
It is WooCommerce ready, but you need to install that plugin. It is an agency theme: the shop is an add-on, not its main strength.
Grupi with a shop: possible, but not the core of the theme
If your agency sells packages or digital products, Grupi offers several layouts for the shop page and for displaying products, and supports different product types. If you need a large catalog with advanced filters, look first at a theme built for e-commerce. If what you need is to show services, team and projects with a polished design, Grupi is a better fit.
