How the Highwayz demo is built
The Highwayz demo is organised like the website of a diversified construction company, with these pieces:
- Services: pages for road construction, materials certification, roads, highways and structures, driveway paving, asphalt replacement and coating inspection.
- Projects: a gallery filterable by category (building, office, consulting, interior) and project pages with location and a short text.
- Trust blocks: company values, safety commitment, management system, client testimonials and a strip of company figures.
- News blog: to share improvements, renovations or case studies.
- Contact and quote: a request-a-quote button repeated in the header and several sections, plus opening hours and phone number visible at the top.
What suits each type of company
Contractor that lives on tenders
They need a procurement officer to quickly find certifications, values and reference projects. The services, projects and quality management sections cover that path, and another manager's testimonial reinforces what the tender document doesn't say.
Family-run asphalt and driveway company
They work with homeowners and associations looking for price and timeline. What works best here is the quote button always in view, the phone number in the header and pages for specific services such as driveway paving or asphalt replacement.
Consultancy or materials lab
The materials certification section and the text on how materials behave under load and deterioration fit a technical profile that sells testing and reports more than its own construction work.
What to change before publishing
The demo is full of sample text: a fictional company name, projects from other times, repeated testimonials, and a sample phone number and address. Replace everything with real data. The figures for projects, years or machinery belong to the demo; only show those you can prove, because a public works client will check them. The same goes for awards and certifications: if you don't have them, remove the block.
