Building a clinic website often ends up as a homepage with the director's résumé, stock photos of white coats and a contact form lost at the bottom. That is not what patients are looking for: they search for their problem (a diagnostic test, a cosmetic operation, a muscle contracture) and want to see quickly whether you can solve it and who will treat them.

HolaMed is a theme built around that approach. It comes with different homepages by specialty (general clinic, plastic surgery, massage and medical blog), so you can organize the site by treatments instead of by org chart. It suits clinics, diagnostic centers, dentists, therapists, pharmacies or a doctor with a private practice.

This is how the work with this theme usually goes:

• You import the demo with one click. You start from a site that is already built instead of a blank page.
• You pick the homepage that looks like your business. If you do plastic surgery or massage, there is one designed for that; if your site is mostly a medical blog, there is one too. The other pages (about, galleries, testimonials, 404) are already laid out.
• You adjust the content with WPBakery Page Builder. The theme is compatible with this drag and drop visual editor and includes more than 20 custom elements and shortcodes for tabs, lists, sliders or icons. Check in the demo that the editor stays active after importing it.
• You set up the contact form. The theme supports Contact Form 7, which is a separate plugin that you configure yourself. There is no appointment booking system here: the patient writes to you and you reply. If the form asks for symptoms or medical history, treat them as health data and ask only for what is essential.
• You turn on the shop only if you sell something. The catalog, product page, cart and order pages are prepared for WooCommerce, which you must install separately. It makes sense for medical equipment, massage tools or pharmacy products; if you only offer consultations, you don't need it.
• You replace the photos. The demo images are not included in the package. And in a clinic it is better to use real photos of the team and the facilities: patients choose the person who is going to treat them.

Can I use it without knowing how to code?

Yes. Colors, the menu and content blocks are customized from the visual editor and the theme settings, without touching code.

Does it work if I offer several specialties?

Yes, as long as you organize the menu well. It has a multi-level menu, so you can hang each treatment under its specialty without overcrowding the bar.

Does it handle online appointments?

No. You would need to add a separate booking plugin or keep contact through a form and phone.

Does it look good on mobile?

It is responsive, and it also has an option for the navigation bar on small screens. Even so, check the demo on your phone with your own content, which is what changes the result.

Design already solved: fonts, color and animations

The theme uses Lora and Niramit (Google Fonts) and integrates Font Awesome for icons. It is based on the Bootstrap 3 grid, and has parallax effects, scroll animations and image zoom. If they feel too flashy for a sober practice, you will have to tone them down when building your pages. Color is easy to change, and the logo and favicon are included as a starting point. It is a good base for a clinic that wants to look professional from day one, as long as you add your own content.
