Someone buying for a gas plant visits your site and finds a list of capabilities. Any workshop can write that list, so it does not tell them whether you have worked on a site like theirs.

In an industrial company, what convinces is finished work, with its sector and its photos, more than the list of what you can do. A home page by activity organizes the way in, and each project page supplies that proof.

Industrio, by shtheme, is a WordPress theme for industrial, engineering and machinery companies, and one of its home page collections is organized exactly that way, by activity: Industry, Welding, Oil and Gas, Construction, Agriculture and Energy & Power.

A library of home pages to choose by activity

The demos are grouped into several versions and each group has its own character:

• Home pages by sector: version 5 gathers the six activities mentioned above.
• Home pages named after cities: New York, Los Angeles, Sydney, Berlin, Dublin, New Delhi, Tokyo, Bangkok, Riyadh, Canberra, Brasilia and Paris, spread across the first versions.
• Numbered home pages: versions 6, 7 and 8 add more home page options.
• Color variants: blue, green, red, gray blue, orange and yellow, depending on the version.
• An RTL version for right-to-left languages.

If you serve one sector, start from that activity's home page. If you serve several, you can try building one page per sector using each home page as a starting point, and check on a copy how they sit together on the same site.

The project page is what lets you show each job: a welding or gas job, with its sector, gives visitors the proof they came for.

It presents the company and waits for your content

Industrio handles the company presentation. Its features do not include a quote calculator or an industrial ordering system: requests arrive through the forms you build with Contact Form 7. It is not optimized for Gutenberg either, so layout work goes through Elementor.

A sector home page looks good with demo photos and loses strength with generic images. Gather your own photos and projects for each activity first.

Installing Industrio and building the first home page

One common error shows up during installation: if WordPress warns of a missing style sheet, you probably uploaded the full package. Extract it and upload the theme ZIP inside.

1. Install the theme and activate it.
2. Install the plugins it includes.
3. Import a single demo, the one that fits your activity.
4. Replace the sample text and images with your own.
5. Create your first project pages, one for each job you want to show.
6. Prepare the contact form and send a test message.

Enginir, Industrium and Fabrik for other angles

Enginir is designed for chemical plants, construction, energy, gas, machinery and refineries, with the focus on engineering. Industrium is aimed at industrial corporations, with sections for services, experience and the management team.

If you also need to attract staff, Fabrik treats employment as a first-class section, with its own menu and a block on the home page.

Are there home pages for my sector?

There are home pages for industry, welding, oil and gas, construction, agriculture, and energy. If your activity is not there, check the other versions, which are more general.

Can I sell from the site?

It includes WooCommerce, so you can build a shop with it.

Which builder does it use?

Elementor, included in all versions.

Does it work for sites in Arabic or Hebrew?

There is an RTL version for languages written from right to left.

What if the theme will not install?

If you see the missing style sheet warning, unzip the downloaded package and upload the theme ZIP.
