Organizing a conference often means having the agenda in a PDF, the speakers on a social network and ticket sales on another site, so attendees end up not knowing when the talk they care about starts. ITImex brings all of that together on a single event page, and its demo is built like the website of a freelancers' conference.
A freelancers' conference built from top to bottom
The demo works as a script for seeing how the theme is used. Here is the case step by step:
- Event header: date, tagline and a ticket-purchase button in plain sight. It is the first thing visitors see and what decides whether they keep reading.
- Why attend: a text block with a registration button and another one leading to the photo gallery. Here you explain who the event is for and what people will learn.
- Speakers: cards with name, company or role and a line about their career. They let attendees see who is speaking before they pay.
- Schedule: a table by time slot with each talk and its speakers, including coffee breaks and dinner. It is the part attendees will check most the day before.
- Tickets: three tiers (Basic, Standard and Premium) with a list of what each one includes and a buy button.
- Contact and partners: an area with partners, address, form, phone numbers and social networks.
All of this is designed for a one-day event with several speakers. If your conference has several rooms or several days, you will have to adapt the schedule yourself.
What ITImex needs for the demo to work on your site
The demo's purchase buttons are design buttons. An events theme like this does not provide a payment gateway or attendee management on its own, so charging for tickets and keeping track of who has bought requires you to link to a ticketing service or add a plugin for it. Check in the demo whether your ticketing flow fits what you see.
Ticket sales that reward booking early
The demo includes a discount notice for early buyers and three price cards with different numbers of entries and performances. It is a good pattern for organizing your own tiers. The amounts and benefits in the demo are examples and you replace them with your own.
