About JetFormBuilder WooCommerce Action Addon
Selling with WooCommerce often forces customers to browse the shop, open a product page, click add to cart and retype at checkout the details they already gave you in a form. Every extra step is a chance to lose them. This addon shortens that path: the JetFormBuilder form adds the product to the cart and takes the person straight to checkout.
For businesses that sell what is requested in a form
Think of a custom service, a booking with extras, a registration or a tailor-made order. The customer does not pick from a catalog: they describe what they want, and the price or product depends on their answers. A form captures that information with far more context than a standard product page, and what usually fails is the bridge to payment. JetFormBuilder WooCommerce Action Addon is that bridge.
How the add-to-cart and redirect action works
It is added as a post-submit action of the form, using the option that adds to cart and redirects to checkout. This is what you configure:
- Product ID source: it can come from a form field (dynamic, for example depending on what the user picks in a dropdown) or be typed in manually if it is always the same product.
- Price field: you choose the field that holds the total price. If you leave it empty, the price is taken from the post meta value.
- Order details heading: the title shown before the form data attached to the order.
- Order details: a list of form fields, each with its own label, shown on the thank you page and in the order preview in the dashboard. They are the same for all redirect actions of that form.
- Checkout fields map: you connect form fields to WooCommerce checkout fields, so the checkout arrives partly pre-filled.
Only one product per action
The action adds a single product to the cart. If your case is an order with several product lines, this addon does not solve it as is.
The reload method changes when the redirect happens
If the form uses AJAX, the redirect runs after all the other post-submit actions. With page reload, the redirect is immediate. If you have other actions (email notifications, saving the record), keep this in mind.
It needs WooCommerce and JetFormBuilder
It is an add-on: it does not work on its own. It requires JetFormBuilder and an active WooCommerce; without the latter, the dashboard shows a notice. It is not a payment gateway: payment is handled by the WooCommerce checkout you already have.
Questions buyers ask before installing
Can I sell several products in a single submission?
Not with one action, which adds a single product.
Does it work with any theme?
Yes, it does not depend on a specific theme. The form can be displayed with a Gutenberg block, an Elementor widget, a Bricks element or a shortcode in any other builder.
Can the product change depending on what the customer answers?
Yes: if the ID is taken from a form field, the product added depends on the answer.
What happens if I leave the price field empty?
The price is taken from the post meta value.
Does it work for recurring payments?
That is not its purpose: it adds a product to the WooCommerce cart and redirects to checkout.
What the customer sees after submitting
The person goes from the form to checkout without stopping in the shop. If you have mapped the fields, they find their name, email or other data already filled in, so they only need to review and pay. Afterwards, the thank you page shows the order details you chose to display, with your labels, and the same data appears in the order preview in the dashboard.
The order details list is set up once per form
Because the order details list is shared by all redirect actions of a form, decide from the start which data you need to manage the order. When editing the list, safe deleting is on by default and asks for confirmation before removing an item, which prevents losing fields with a stray click. Before going live, place a complete test order: check that the right product reaches the cart, that the price is the expected one and that the checkout fields are filled in where they should be.
