About JetMenu Mega Menu for Elementor
A menu that doesn't break when the catalog grows
A store or a site with many sections ends up with the same problem: a single-line menu doesn't fit, submenus pile up and visitors can't find what they want. JetMenu Mega Menu for Elementor helps organize that navigation with wide dropdowns, in columns and with real content inside.
What you can put inside each dropdown
Each menu item can carry its own template built with your page builder, combining columns and sections. That way the dropdown stops being a list and allows:
- Multimedia: video clips, audio or portfolio samples, in grid, masonry or equal-height layouts.
- Dynamic content: products or posts that update by themselves.
- Banners and category cards: useful to highlight offers or service sections.
You also choose the navigation type: category dropdown, multi-level submenu or anchor menu, which links to sections of a long page. Navigation can load via AJAX so switching between items feels smoother, and there is an option to cache content.
Available menu formats
- Horizontal, for classic top navigation.
- Vertical, sidebar style, designed for catalogs or content-heavy sites.
- Full screen, as an overlay that covers the whole page.
- Hamburger, compact for mobile.
- Pop-up menu in a modal window, opened with a button or icon.
Style and limits
You can style icons, badges, fonts, spacing and hover effects, and save settings as presets to reuse them in other menus or export the menu to another site. There is also a "More" button that collects extra items to save width.
Be clear about what it is: a menu plugin, not a full header builder. It works with the Elementor editor (and with Gutenberg blocks), so the templates you put inside are designed with those tools. Keeping the menu fixed while scrolling belongs to another Crocoblock plugin, JetTricks, and isn't included here.
Frequently asked questions
Can I have a different menu on mobile and desktop?
Yes. You can adapt the same mega menu to small screens or build a dedicated mobile layout, and combine both options.
Does it work for a WooCommerce store?
Yes. One of the demos, the bookstore, combines a vertical sidebar menu, templates in submenus and WooCommerce. To build product templates the maker recommends another of its plugins, JetWooBuilder.
Can I reuse the style across several menus?
Yes. The preset manager saves the settings and the import and export option lets you take the menu to another site.
Can it be used with Gutenberg?
Yes, the plugin works with both Elementor and the block editor.
Four demos that show real use
The maker shows the menu applied to four kinds of site: a clothing store with a horizontal mega menu and category cards, a vacation rental site with a simple dropdown and a menu that rolls up on mobile, a clinic with service category links and breakpoints, and a bookstore with a vertical menu. They are a good starting point to see which structure fits your business.
Before building the menu
Before touching the menu, define what you want to offer in each dropdown: a few category cards usually work better than twenty links. Prepare the templates that will go inside, choose the format (horizontal, vertical, full screen or hamburger) and then configure the mobile version separately. Check in the demo how the menu behaves on touch screens before applying it to a site with a lot of mobile traffic.
